Who is the woman standing with Trump in 'weird' White House clip dubbed 'not real'

A video of Donald Trump in the White House's Oval Office has certainly captured attention - but this time, it's not because of the President.

Instead, the identity of a woman stood behind Trump piqued the interest of social media users in a clip that has since been branded 'one of the weirdest things' and 'not real'.

The President was actually joined by Michael Dell, CEO and chairman of tech company Dell Technologies, and his wife Susan Dell.

They were appearing in the Oval Office on Wednesday (7 October) as they promoted the expanded 'Trump Accounts' personal investment programme for children.

The couple were highlighting a corporate and philanthropic effort backing the initiative, in which the US Treasury Department enrolled more than 60 million American children into the scheme.

It was the announcement of the IRA-style investment accounts for eligible children, who will gain access to them once they turn 18.

President Trump has long maintained friendly ties with Dell Technologies founder Michael Dell and his wife.

And now they are committing billions of dollars to help fund the bank scheme for US children, alongside efforts through their private philanthropic organisation which aims to support youths in urban poverty.

Susan had encouraged families to register for Trump Accounts while speaking alongside the president.

After her speech, President Trump asked Michael Dell whether his wife was considering running for office before giving his 'complete and total endorsement'.

But a video of the exchange was compared to an 'SNL' skit and 'not real' in a flurry of posts on social media.

Many of the posts have since had millions of views, as the stance of Susan Dell was sarcastically even compared to being 'robotic' with other members of the administration compared to 'zombies'.

"This is legitimately one of the weirdest things I have ever seen. What the hell is this? Every single part of it. When can we go back to normal?" one person posted to X.

Another commented: "It gets worse the longer I look... is this a SNL skit?"

"Life is seriously starting too feel like some weird twilight zone black mirror collab," commented a third.

"It's really weird, the people in the Trump administration look like zombies or aliens," added a fourth user.

"Is this AI or something? Who are the people around Trump, and especially that weird woman?" added another.

LADbible has contacted Susan and Michael Dell, and the White House for comment.
