Woman Praised For Her Response To ‘Creepy’ Old Man Staring At Her In The Gym

A personal trainer has been praised for standing up to a 'creepy' guy in the gym. Watch below:

Heidi Aragon, a personal trainer from the US, was working out recently when she spotted a guy staring at her. She even called her husband over to stand in the way but the man continued to look over in her direction.

In a video posted on her TikTok account, Heidi puts her phone on a bench to film herself while she's doing squats, but stops when she spots the man walking over.

"This creepy old guy at the gym kept coming over and staring at me," she explained in text.

"So I told my husband, and he came over and worked out next to me."

But despite the human blockade, the man continued to stare at her.

She explained: "I thought he got the picture. I attempted to do my set. Then I got fed up and went over and addressed him."

You can then hear Heidi telling him to "stop this" after she walks out of shot.

"I told him if he's gonna work out in this corner, he needed to stop staring and making me uncomfortable - his response was, 'I'm just looking around'.

"I then told him I record my workouts and I have him on film. He shut up real quick."

In the clip, Heidi can be seen calling the man out for making her feeling uncomfortable.

"Don't sit there and tell me you're not doing something when I have proof," she said.

Since the video was posted, Heidi has been praised for standing up for herself and telling the man where to get off.

One user wrote: "You did good by confronting him! These type of men only go to stare at women and not workout. See it all the time!"

While another added: "That's good you confronted him and have it on video."

Unsurprisingly, though, and quite depressingly, this isn't the first time a woman has had to call out a creep hanging around in the gym.

Earlier this year, a man was banned from the gym for allegedly filming a woman during her workout.

He was caught after another gym-goer recorded him and reported it - now some people are saying she's just as bad.
