A Porsche driver had an absolute nightmare after managing to crash into two cars while trying to park in a driveway.

Footage has been shared on social media showing the the whole tragic scenario as it unfolded.

In the clip, which was filmed by what appears to be a security camera, the silver Taycan can be seen making its way up the drive, which is on a fairly steep incline.

For a few seconds, the very expensive car stops before suddenly shooting forwards, crashing into the back of the car in front and then flying off the drive all together - landing on top of a vehicle parked on the curb below.

Fortunately, it appears as though no one was badly injured as a result of the incident, just a little 'shaken up'.

The alleged driver of the car later took to Twitter to share his misery with the world, claiming it happened after they accidentally engaged the 'launch control' feature which, as the name suggests, is not meant for parking.

They said: "So I did this today..."

In a later comment, they added: "If you're wondering how this happened, pressing the brake and accelerator at the same time engages launch control, on this Taycan it's 0-60 in 2.4 seconds."

The aftermath.

When asked why they thought it would be a good idea to press the accelerator and brake at the same time, the driver said: "[To] see what happens."

Well, I doubt they will be doing that again.

Speaking to The Sun about the collisions, a local resident said they raced outside to see what happened after hearing a loud crash.

They told the publication: "I feel sorry for the guy. He was visiting a neighbour of mine.

"I heard it and went to offer some help to make sure he was ok. Luckily, there were no serious injuries.

"I heard it happen, it was a loud crashing noise. He was pretty shaken up. He had a few bumps and bruises, but he was ok.

"He seemed like a really nice, genuine guy and he'd just smashed up his new Porsche."

Unsurprisingly, the driver has been heavily mocked online for their very costly mishap.

One person said: "19 Seconds in: 'ooo look at me, I've got a fancy c-', 21 Second in: 'oh f***ing no!'"

A second perplexed user then asked: "How's that even possible?"

While another chimed in: "Do u normally try launch control facing the garage then?"

Fair points.
