Staying in hotels by yourself can be a little unnerving sometimes, especially when you're far from home. Well, this cabin crew worker's spooky story will do nothing to assuage your concerns. Watch below:
A TikTok user going under the handle @danidboyy1 posted a video to her channel recently, in which she urged her followers never to open a hotel door if they hear a strange noise outside.

In the video, she explains how she and many others who work in the industry have heard of and experienced countless creepy stories in their time.
But one tale, she says, left her positively shaken.
"So this person had landed from a really busy flight, was very tired and just wanted to go straight to sleep," @danidboyy1 begins.
"When she got into bed, she was struggling to sleep because she could hear children laughing and children playing outside her room.

"After half-an-hour, she got frustrated and called reception on the phone and let them know that children were playing outside her room and that she couldn't sleep.
"The hotel reception then informed her that the floor was solely for crew, there were no other members of the public, children or people staying on that floor.
"She said, 'Ok', and obviously tried to go back to sleep.
"The running up and down and laughing outside continued, so she decided that she would get out of bed and go and look outside to see what the noise was about.

"So she opened the door, had a quick look outside, no one was there, the noise had stopped, so she shut the door again.
"When she got back into bed and tried to go back to sleep, she could hear the running and the laughing and the children playing again.
"She called reception again by the phone and let them know that the noise was still continuing and there were definitely children playing on the floor.
"The staff reassured her that there were no children and they apologised for the noise.

"At this point, she was obviously really frustrated because she just wanted to sleep, so she decided to get dressed, go down and speak to reception personally.
"The hotel staff didn't seem to believe her when she said she could hear someone outside her room, so she requested to watch back the CCTV footage."
And this is where things really start to get creepy, apparently.
She continues: "She then watched herself open the door, let a little boy walk into the room, before closing the door again."

There you have it. Now, you might have a few questions about the story, such as what happened next, where were the other children whose voices she heard, did she return to her room, and even where was the hotel?
Sadly, however, the TikTok video answers none of those, so you will just have to do with the above.
