The mother of a Ukrainian model left in a coma with severe injuries after allegedly attending a party in Dubai explained the horrifying aftermath of her daughter's attack.
Back in March, OnlyFans model Maria Kovalchuk was found severely beaten and unconscious on the roadside in the wealthy UAE city, with injuries including a broken spine, and left in a coma.
Months on from the horrifying incident and the 20-year-old has now spoken in a new interview with her mother, as she recovers from the life-changing injuries in Norway, and alleged that she'd been attacked by wealthy Russians after attending a party which turned violent.

Speaking to Russian news outlet Ostorozhno from her mother's home, Maria claimed that she'd been invited to a party by a 19-year-old Russian man after missing her flight to Thailand. The teenager also offered a private flight to the Southeast Asian country and a place to stay in his hotel.
However things went swiftly downhill at the party.
What has Maria Kovalchuk said?

"They started teasing me, why I wasn't drinking. Then some aggressive pushes like pushing in the shoulders began. After that, they started making fun of me like 'you belong to us, we will do whatever we want," she explained.

"I tried to take it as a joke, because it was really weird.
"They started behaving inappropriately, smashing bottles on the floor. That is, the entire floor was strewn with broken glass, that is, it was impossible to walk there."
Maria went on to claim the men became increasingly aggressive after she refused to participate in sex acts and managed to escape from the room, only for the men to catch up with her in a nearby construction site.

The group then assaulted her, with the injuries coming from either a beating or a fall from a height.

Maria does not remember specifics from the attack, but added that she'd had her treatment paid for by UAE authorities on the condition that she wouldn't speak negatively about the country.
What has her mum said?
Maria's mother Anna has also spoken out about her daughter's ordeal, previously telling Ukrainian media that her daughter was left without documents or a phone in the aftermath of the attack.
"She’s had three operations. She can’t speak. We were told she went to a party, but the promoter claims he never saw her. We’re terrified of what really happened," she said.
Anna has since claimed that Maria was 'treated like a pet' by the wealthy men. "They found themselves a pet, someone they could torment. Just to trigger her, watch her suffer, see her fear - almost as entertainment," Anna said (via MailOnline).

"And then at some point, it crossed a line. That's the turning point — they went too far."
Anna's comments come following initial concerns that Maria had found herself caught up in Dubai's infamous 'porta potty parties'.

What are Dubai's 'porta potty parties'?
The phrase 'porta potty parties' has gained traction online in recent years to refer to parties where young women - usually models or influencers - are paid large sums of money to take part in abusive or degrading acts.

Young women, often with large social media followings, will be showered with lavish gifts and stays in luxury hotels.
The phrase 'porta potty' refers to allegations that the wealthy men would even urinate and defecate on the models.
Had Maria Kovalchuk attended a 'porta potty party'?
There had been initial confusion over whether or not Maria had attended such a party, with the model's friends and family expressing concern that she'd either been forced into sexual slavery or made to attend such a party.
However, Maria has denied attending a 'porta potty party', stating that she ended up at the event after oversleeping and missing her flight.
