RJ Mitte's loved ones have told how they intend to 'keep his story alive' following his tragic death earlier this month.
The Breaking Bad star, who became renowned for his role as Bryan Cranston's on-screen son, sadly passed away on 12 October.
Tributes have been pouring in for the actor since the news broke, and his family have now shared a statement sharing their appreciation for the 'overwhelming love' they have received.
Mitte, 34, was found dead by his heartbroken mother Dyna, who explained she became concerned after her son did not answer his phone.

She told NBC News she had been encouraging him to 'go to therapy' over the last three months - and said she would drag him there 'screaming and yelling' if she could turn back the clock.

"We all go through some heartbreak in our life and, and we all deal with it differently," Dyna said. "If I had known anything and could have done anything different, I truly would have. I would have given my life for his life."
Mitte's sister and fellow former child star Lacianne Carriere shared a poignant statement on social media paying tribute to her sibling, describing him as 'her everything'.
"There are just no words," she wrote. "You were just here. Your strawberry Fanta was still sitting on my coffee table when I got the call. Life hasn’t felt real since then.
"RJ you were my everything. I just lost my other half. I lost my brother but I also lost my father…Every single aspect of my personality is because of your influence. My music taste, my film taste the video games I love… because of you I am a collector, you taught me that even the smallest piece of paper can be a precious memory later on."

The 22-year-old dubbed her late brother the 'life of the party', while adding: "I loved you completely. And you loved me the same. That’s all. The rest is confetti."
Mitte's relatives have now shared a statement from his official X account, which thanked fans for their support.
It read: "The Mitte Family extends their deepest thanks and appreciation for the overwhelming love being shared with them from around the world since RJ's passing.
"He was a friend to everyone he met, and its shown in the outpouring of kind thoughts and lively stories being shared about his life.
"As we go forward, this page will be managed by his team, who will be navigating how we keep his story alive."

The statement continued: "Whether through his art or his advocacy, we hope to continue changing and inspiring the world through his messages.
"In lieu of donations, contributions can be made to The Mitte Foundation - Mitte Cultural District in Brownsville, Tx to support the local arts, education, and community development projects he was working on."
Mitte served as president of the non-profit organisation, who told how he 'believed deeply in the power of arts and culture to serve as a bridge between generations, cultures, abilities, and communities' following his death.
The fundraiser which his family encouraged fans to donate to has raised $2,692 of its $100,000 goal at the time of writing.
'Honouring' Mitte's legacy
The donation page explains: "RJ believed that everyone deserved access to arts and culture. Through his leadership, generosity, and dedication, he helped advance the district's mission and played a meaningful role in achieving its official designation by the Texas Commission on the Arts in 2026.
"Today, the Mitte Cultural District serves as a vibrant gathering place for residents and visitors alike—celebrating our rich cultural heritage through live performances, art exhibits, educational programs, festivals, and community events that inspire creativity and connection.
"As we honour RJ's legacy, we remain committed to carrying forward the vision he believed in so deeply - a community where the arts are accessible to all and where creativity, culture, and opportunity flourish for generations to come. Your donation helps us continue this important work, support local artists, preserve our cultural heritage, and build upon the legacy of those who believed in the power of the arts to transform our community."
