A former model who was found on the side of the road in Dubai with a broken spine and legs has opened up about the 'dark' reality of 'porta potty parties’.
Such parties refer to highly dangerous gatherings in Dubai where wealthy men pay female models or influencers substantial sums of money to endure extreme sexual humiliation, abuse and acts involving bodily fluids.
In the case of Maria Kovalchuk, a former OnlyFans model, she was beaten by rich Russian and Belarusian men before being admitted to hospital under a fake identity in March 2025.
They took her passport and clothes, as the 21-year-old was left in an induced coma for eight days.

"After some time, they started partying. There was alcohol and illegal substances and they tried to get me to join in," Maria told the Daily Mail.

"I explained that I didn't want to participate and their behaviour quickly became aggressive. It was apparent they wanted me under the influence so I would do sexual things with them.
"They treated me like an object. They said, 'you belong to us, we can do what we want'."
Medical reports from April 2025 show that she suffered a shattered vertebra in her lower spine, multiple fractures to her limbs, a broken leg and a broken wrist.

While authorities claim she had fallen from a construction site, Maria says she's receiving ongoing death threats from her alleged attackers who are suing her.
Maria recalled that when she was caught trying to escape the party by one of the girls, she suffered a 'sharp blow to my head'.
"Then I remember briefly seeing a taxi driver who I called to for help before falling unconscious. After that, I woke up in the hospital," she said.

"I woke up, bedridden, and my mind immediately spiraled into terrible thoughts. I didn't understand at all what was happening.
"I had no idea who I was, where I was. I couldn't even say my name for a very long time. I didn't even recognise my mother when I managed to see her via video call."
"It's a very dark place that seems like paradise but in reality everything is far from like that," she said of Dubai.
"There is a lot of money circulating there and, behind this money, there are people, and it's dangerous."
Maria now lives in Norway and says she will 'never go back to Dubai'.
