Russia have sent threats out to the UK following a report that revealed the five ways that enemy nations could strike the country.
The Kremlin have wasted no time in warning Britain of nuclear attacks after Prime Minister Keir Starmer's defence review on Monday (2 June) made headlines after it was revealed that the nation could be attacked via five methods.
These included cruise missiles, cyber attacks, increased sabotage, long-range drones, and efforts to manipulate what is being reported.

But now, a popular Russian TV show has warned Britain of a potential 'Armageddon' which would cause 'painful' radiation deaths.
While Russian President Vladimir Putin has not directly addressed the defence review, Russian government mouthpiece Vladimir Solovyov has sent a scathing message out to viewers and the public.

On the air, Solovyov, who isn't afraid to share his views, said: "I can't understand why the British have gone mad (with the new UK defence review). Where do they want to clash with us? At what point?
“Or do they think that we have already landed, entered the Thames somewhere and are now storming Westminster Abbey….?”

The broadcast then shifted focus to a 'very pretty' woman next to Starmer in his defence review, and pointed out her doubt against a 'battle ready' Russia.
It wasn't just Solovyov, as political scientist Dmitry Evstafiev weighed in with his take on the British Prime Minister's announcement.
“Back to Starmer–there he is, standing there, with workers behind him, or rather, hired extras pretending to be workers,” he claimed.
Evstafiev went on: “Well, there are a couple of real workers there, apparently. But they understand that if the plan for direct military confrontation with Russia, which he is talking about, is implemented, they will all be dead.
“Quickly and painfully, because death from radiation is not the best kind of death,” he concluded.

The political expert went on: “Well, that is, if you die immediately, if you are at the epicentre, then it's okay. But if you die slowly, well, it's not like in some horror movie. It's much worse than that.”
“Every part of society, every citizen of this country, has a role to play.”
The Russian commentators' words came after news from Ukraine's SBU security service confirmed it had struck four Russian air bases that contained a large number of long-range aviation fleet that would carry out strikes on their country.
These aircrafts also had the capabilities to carry nuclear weapons.

The Russian government reported attacks on five bases, including the Ukraine long-range hub in the far eastern region, where the region's governor said that a truck 'caught fire' near Seryshevo, denying the air base was targeted.

Solovyov added that Sunday's attacks from Ukraine signalled 'grounds for a nuclear attack', according to reports from the Ukrainian media via Newsweek.
It's not the first time the TV presenter has mentioned nuclear weapons in conversations around Russia potentially attacking other nations.
He has historically spoken about carrying out a nuclear strike on NATO countries, too.

Following an incursion by Ukraine across the border into Russia, he even claimed that it was a 'basis to start a nuclear war'.
