Do you think your partner is cheating?

There could be signs you’re missing to prove it.

According to a survey from cheating website IllicitEncounters.com, those who have cheated on their partners revealed a few things that an unfaithful spouse will do to let you in on their secret, but you need to keep an eye out and pay attention.

We all know of someone who has been cheated on and they’ll usually be able to tell you the exact moment they realised.

So, if you’ve got an inkling, here’s what you need to watch out for.

According to the survey, if you notice that your partner is getting up at night at strange times, this is a red flag.

This could be down to cheater’s guilt.

Fifty-two per cent of those in the survey admitted to having sleep issues after beginning an affair.

Fifteen per cent of cheaters also got out of bed early so they could text their affair partner.

So, if they are waking up at night and getting up early, it could be a sign.

However, it also found that twenty-eight per cent had no issues sleeping or slept for longer as they were no longer ‘deprived of intimacy.’

Strange.

Another sign is that your partner is cuddling up to you more than usual, and this can include hugging, kissing and so on.

A whopping 57 per cent stated that they showed extra affection to their partner, while they were having an affair behind their back.

Or, you could have one of the minorities who avoids sleeping in the same bed as you.

The site's spokesperson, Christian Grant, explained why this could be.

He said: "We all have a daily routine we tend to stick to, so when there's erratic and inexplicable changes to that routine, especially as something as important as sleep, there tends to be cause behind the effect.

"Ultimately, the bottom line here is to look out for behaviour that you know is out of character. Don't dismiss it as a one-off or a weird phase - there's no smoke without fire."

Even though cheating happens all throughout the year, apparently Halloween could give you an additional insight into whether your partner has the potential to cheat.

According to data from Ashley Madison, men who are likely to stray in a relationship will choose to dress as a pirate and women who could cheap will wear a police uniform.

Did you clock any of the signs within your relationship?
