Devastating news. Even though in the US they have all-day breakfast at Maccy Ds and have done for two whole years, McDonald said they will never bring it to the UK.

Apparently, despite guzzling away at pancakes, Egg McMuffins and McGriddles, the Americans have got bored of breakfast every day at McDonalds and it's been a bit of a flop. But I think they underestimate us Brits. We'd keep them afloat with our insatiable need to Egg McMuffins (aka hangovers).

Even though McDonald's is being cruel and won't give us an Egg McMuffin passed 10.30am, its competitors have jumped on the bandwagon. KFC has just launched its finger-lickin' good all day breakfast menu, with a bacon roll, bacon and egg roll and a Chicken AM - a piece of the Colonel's special chicken, plus smoked bacon, a freshly cracked egg and cheese in a fluffy white bun.

The McDonald's breakfast menu isn't just limited to Egg McMuffins - did you know you could get porridge at Maccy Ds? Oh what's that, you don't care? Ok.

What they should do is scrap the porridge and slices of apple in a bag and do a proper fry up! Sausages, black pudding, hash browns and fried eggs!
And two words - breakfast burrito. I think the UK is ready and in many ways crying out for a Maccy D brekkie burrito.
At least we have the McFlurry Party this side of the pond to look forward too. I can't wait for the giant McFlurry - not a moment too soon!
