Lad With Down's Syndrome Is Inundated With Job Offers After He Wrote Amazing Letter

He's smashing it.

I used to work on a recruitment magazine and the only advice I actually remember from there is that you should never underestimate the importance of your covering letter.

This is because people will read your cover letter before they even look at your C.V. If your cover letter is shit, there's a good chance your application won't even be considered.

This isn't news to 16-year-old Addison Quinn from Australia, who has Down's Syndrome but wasn't going to let that stop him finding a weekend job.

His heart-warming letter has gone viral since his mother, Lisa, shared it on Facebook to result in a bunch of companies coming forward to offer him work and plenty of others wishing him all the best with his job hunt.

One couple from Queensland even got in touch to tell Addison that, while they were too far away to offer him a job, they'd love to help out by paying for his uniform, the Daily Mail reports.

Addison's wrote:

To whom it may concern: Hi, my name is Addison. I'm 16 years old. I am in Year 10 at Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College - Tumbi Umbi Campus. I live in Erina.

A hairdresser, cleaning company and a cafe have all come forward to offer him work. It looks like he's going to be a very busy lad.
