Drug Dealer Gets Caught After Leaving A Note On Door About 'Snitches'

Drug Dealer Gets Caught After Leaving A Note On Door About 'Snitches'

Why would you think this was a good idea?

The life of a drug dealer has got to be a hard, hasn't it? Never knowing who you can trust. 'Does this new fella really want to buy drugs or is he an informant'? sort of thing.

Well, one dealer in the US thought that she had come up with a fool proof way of weeding out the genuine drugs lovers from the, what she calls, snitches.

The sign, in bright pink card, reads: "Due to snitches, everyone entering my home is subject to being searched! All cellphones and drinks will be left outside. (If you're not a snitch, it won't offend you if I search you!!)"

Genius that bit in brackets, isn't it? Like if you object to this strange drug dealer frisking you, it's YOU that's in the wrong.

If you're now nodding your head and going 'yes, genius', well then I'm sorry to say, she's not been a genius. At all. In fact, it was this very note that led to her downfall.

Two deputies from the Fayette County Sheriff's Department were responding to a joyriding complaint when they spotted this note on the door of the house. It's bright, isn't it? You would spot that.

Seeing the note prompted the deputies to ask about any drug selling that might be going on in the property as well as a quick search for drugs, and they found heroin and methamphetamine.

The home owner, April Lynn Lavender, 38, was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substances with intent to deliver.

Fayette County Sheriff's Department shared a picture of the sign on its Facebook page with a caption, saying: "While drug investigations often require a great deal of time and effort, sometimes the criminals make our job pretty easy.

"If someone posts a sign on their front door about searching 'snitches,' it's a pretty safe bet that there are illegal drugs being sold out of that location."

True dat.
