Who would buy this?

Once again proving that fashion makes absolutely no sense, Prada has gone ahead and released a giant paper-clip - to be used as a money clip - for $180 (£144).

What? Just, what? And why?

I mean, in fairness to the fashion house, this isn't the sort of paper-clip you got in trouble for nicking a box of in work. It's sterling silver, is about 6cm tall and has the Prada logo. So, that's OK then?

It's on-sale at Barneys, New York, if you're interested, you can pick it up here.

The only paper-clip I would consider paying one hundred and forty four British pounds for, is this fella:

Yeah, I don't know who would buy this either.
