British number one Cameron Norrie is set to play Wimbledon’s two year defending champion Novak Djokivic in this year’s semi final.

Norrie is the first British man to get to the Wimbledon mens singles semi final since Andy Murray back in 2016.

Despite being two sets down, the 26 year old Brit managed to defeat Belgium's David Goffin on Tuesday, in a thrilling five set clash.

When asked about his reaction to beating Goffin, Norrie admitted: "Honestly? Speechless. I can't even talk. "

"[I'm] so happy to get through with such a great team and such great family and friends here."

However, things are not going to be easy against the 35 year old Serbian defending champion.

Norrie is currently sitting at twelfth in the men's singles world rankings, whilst Djokovic is at third.

The Brit stated after the quarter finals that “I don't think I'm going to have the chance to lose focus like I did today. With him, there's not room for that.”

Nonetheless, the 26 year old still made certain that “I'm going to take it to Novak and hopefully you guys can get behind me and I'm sure you will."

What Time Norrie Playing Djokovic?

Cameron Norrie will be playing Novak Djokovic on Friday, 8th July, on centre court. It’s expected that the match will get under way at 13:30.

How To Watch Norrie Vs Djokovic

You will be able to watch all of Wimbledon for free as it’s being streamed on both BBC one and BBC two.

However, don’t worry if you can’t watch the semi finals live, as all televised matches will be available on BBC Iplayer.
