He smashed his headline set on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury festival on Sunday night, and now Ed Sheeran has announced he's embarking on a stadium tour.

Everyone's favourite ginger songster took to Twitter earlier this morning to announce the news, writing: "Announcing UK and Europe stadium tour tomorrow. This was the only picture I could find at short..."
He also posted this pretty confusing picture on Instagram...
Oh, Ed! What are you like?

We're not entirely sure where he'll be playing just yet, but we'll keep you posted.
Although we thought he absolutely smashed his Glasto set, the singer was forced to deny claims he used a backing track yesterday after receiving criticism on social media.
Any true Ed Sheeran fan will know he's well-known for using a loop rig in his sets, adding 'layers' of instrumentals to his tracks, so that he doesn't need a backing band and bosses the whole thing on his own.
How anybody can bash this is beyond me...

However, it seems as though the idea of a loop-pedal was alien to some people watching Ed's headline gig, so they took to social media to try and have a go at the 26-year-old for lip-syncing.

In his own post on Twitter, Ed has defended his set, writing: "Never thought I'd have to explain it, but everything I do in my live show is live, it's a loop station, not a backing track. Please google x"
Before following it up with a second tweet, saying: "Anyway, great night, great atmosphere, family, friends, fun. Love you all x"
Take it as a compliment, Ed. If you're so good singing live that people reckon you're miming then you're obviously doing something right.

Now who's getting tickets with us to his show?!
