American living in the US is dedicated to becoming a fully blown scouser

People reckon the lad is doing a decent job at morphing into a Liverpudlian

An American lad is on a mission to become a full blown scouser - and to be quite frank, he's doing a pretty decent job.

The young man - who is known as 'Vuncle205' and dubs himself an 'American charva' - has been documenting his mission to morph into a Liverpudlian online.

Taking inspiration from the style, slang and customs which are a staple in the UK city, Vuncle205 is injecting some scouse magic into the States.

He kits himself out in vibrantly coloured active wear and Nike Air Max 95s, gets about on a Sur-Ron bike and even rocks a 'scouse trim' - which he describes as a low fade with a comb over.

Some people in Liverpool might not appreciate him perpetuating these stereotypes, however, his videos have been going down a treat with social media users.

In one recent post, Vuncle205 showed himself embodying a true Brit as he tried fish and chips for the first time.

Now, his scran didn't really resemble something you'd find at a UK chip shop, but he still got some brownie points online for trying.

The wannabe-scouser said in the clip: "Al-f***ing-reet mush, trying fish and chips for the first time! I've got my Montirex shirt and my Montirex shorts on.

"Let's go and try it out mush. This is like a Chinese, fish and chips and fried chicken...they even sell kebabs here. This might actually be bossman.

"Can I get fish and chips? Do you guys have a doner kebab here? No doner kebabs, alright."

As you can see, he hasn't got the Liverpudlian lingo down pat just yet - but he's not doing too bad.

Vuncle205 rated his first fish and chips a 'solid six out of ten', saying it was 'banging'...and now people want him to take a flight across the pond to try the real deal.

One person commented: "Go to a proper fish and chip shop and get some curry sauce."

Another said: "Come to England and get real fish and chips mush."

A third wrote: "Vuncle let me adopt you then you will have British nationality."

In other videos shared to TikTok, Vuncle205 has showed himself dipping his toe into UK culture by sipping on Twinings tea, devouring a full English breakfast and tucking into beans on toast.

The lad has also headed to his local Aldi store to get an insight into our way of life - while in another shop, he showed himself searching for a bottle of Frosty Jacks.

Loads of people have praised Vuncle205's valiant efforts towards encapsulating a true scouser, and many reckon he wouldn't look out of place in the centre of Liverpool.

One said: "Mate he actually looks scouse. I love this series."

Another added: "Genuinely wouldn't bat an eye if I seen him in town."

While a third joked: "This is frightening. It's like listening to a bird do a perfect mimicry of someone you know."
