A newlywed bride tragically died in the arms of the love of her life just hours after tying the knot on Monday (3 November).
Jade Tebrar, 37, was battling stomach cancer at the time of the ceremony after being diagnosed back in August 2023.
Jade and her partner, Adam Kemp, 42, had been together for 19 years and had five children together. During her final pregnancy, Jade began to suffer horrific stomach pains and weight loss, with doctors attributing it to the extra strain being put on her body.
Despite giving birth to a healthy boy in February 2023, her issues persisted, and an initial Stage 2 stomach cancer diagnosis progressed to Stage 4 in just weeks before receiving treatment.

Sadly, Jade's cancer spread to her womb and ovaries in September, progressing to Stage 4 within weeks.

Adam said: "She was so strong. She started a bucket list, and all she wanted to do was make sure the children had the best Christmas. But deep down she knew she wasn’t even going to make Christmas."
Despite plans to wed on 21 November 2026, which was the date of their 20th anniversary, the couple decided to work to finalise the arrangements for this year.
Friends, along with the hospice team, all worked hard to sort out the paperwork, a registrar, a cake and a buffet for their big day. Jade also had no family as she was adopted as a baby, with her dream to be given away by Adam's father while wearing a bridesmaid dress she'd worn at his wedding.
The registrar went to their house, as Jade was so unwell, as Adam emotionally recalled: "She was wheeled up the hallway, then I wheeled her into the room. I knelt down beside her during the ceremony so we could be on the same level.
"We said ‘I do’ and she reached up, brushed my tears away and said ‘Don’t cry, I love you'.
"Everyone there was in floods of tears and said they have never seen a wedding filled with so much love."
Adam took a tired Jade to rest on the sofa, and after everyone left, he lay with her after changing her into pyjamas as they reminisced on memories they'd had together.

"Then her breathing changed. I called Willen Hospice and they came out, checked her, and said it wouldn’t be long," Adam said.
"I knew then that I would lose my soulmate on the day I married her.”
"She looked me in the eye and said she was so glad she was to be Mrs Kemp and have our family." he continued. "Then her head slumped, and I knew her soul had left. She had gone."
Recalling his last words to her, Adam said that their heads were touching as he said: "I love you, baby. It’s okay, you can go now no more pain."
Jade passed away at 10.45pm that day.
Adam described his wife as being 'so brave' during her cancer journey, adding: "And all the time being an amazing partner and amazing mother."
The supermarket worker, who has given up work to take care of their kids, is comforted by the fact that they were able to have a memorable wedding despite its sad ending.
Friends of the couple have since started a GoFundMe to help the family through these tough times and to pay for the funeral, which you can donate to here.
