A bunch of lads have gone viral for inventing a new pub game which requires pretty much no skill and just a wee bit of luck. Check it out below:

Despite not being an avid pub-goer myself, there's no doubt that I'm trying this next time.

And loads of TikTok users also can't wait to try the 'new pub game', which looks so simple but still requires a bit of jam.

The way it works is the lads put down five £20 notes onto the pool table.

After putting each note in a certain place, the aim of the game is for one lucky player to take the shot with a white ball and hit it across the table, with the hopes of landing the ball on one of the notes.

If you manage to land your ball on a single note - you get to take all the money home.

Pretty simple.

And it was the lucky man in the alien onesie who ended up snagging the money, giving a short victory run around the pub to celebrate his achievement.

The video has already racked up a mega 5.2 million views after it was uploaded just two days ago.

Panny Otis, who shared the footage, said: "Great bit of fun while drinking and getting everyone involved."

One person commented: "And then he buys the next couple rounds so everyone's a winner," to which Panny replied: "Facts."

"My kind of pool tbh," a second user wrote, while a third added: "We need to do this."

Many were tagging people they knew and asking if they could try this out next time they were on a night out.

And one commenter even suggested playing the game with the family, saying: "We should do this with the fam - everyone puts a £10 in maybe?"

Well, from one viral pub video to another, viewers were left absolutely baffled after witnessing a pool shot that 'doesn't make sense'.

The game had got right down to the final ball, so one player played it safe by trying to nudge the black into a tough spot.

The black ball had been nestled up closely to the white and wasn't in an easy position to get into the hole, but the player managed to hit it at an angle, which seemingly added screw to the ball by hitting down on it.

The hit then sends the cue ball skittering across the table, while the black ball travels backwards into the pocket.

It doesn't look like it should be possible, but the footage doesn't lie.

The video was shared on TikTok by @luke23collins, who also appears confused judging by his narration of the short clip: "This doesn't make sense."

He continued: "How does the guy get the f***ing black ball in from here?"

I guess we'll never know.
