The crowd were left in shock as a darts player began punching the drinks stand after his loss.
Cameron Menzies had a moment of pure rage when he was defeated by 20-year-old Charlie Manby this afternoon (15 December).
Pundits couldn’t help but address the moment as they noticed the 36-year-old Scot left his hand bloodied as a result.
Even for fans making their annual pilgrimage up the North London hill to Ally Pally (Alexandra Place) for the World Darts Championship, a player getting this aggro is a little bit bizarre to watch.

And that’s saying something considering the sporting event tends to be full of the weird and wonderful niche fun – like cheering on the ‘Ally Pally wasp’ as it steals the limelight from stars like Luke Littler.

But it seems ‘Champagne Charlie’ left enough of a sting to Menzies without the need of the insect.
Manby defeated him 3-2 to knock the Scot out of the Championship and secure his spot in the next round.
However, as he began celebrating and returned to embrace his opposition, Menzies could be seen throwing a flurry of uppercuts at the water table in a moment of pure frustration.
Objects fell from the stand as referee Kirk Bevins headed over to ask him to calm things down.
The player did apologise both to the crowd and officials before sharing an embrace with Manby and then heading off stage. And, unsurprisingly, with the vocal Ally Pally faithfuls in full force, Menzies got a boo’ing from the crowd as he left.
Sky Sports commentator Glen Durrant said Menzies will regret his outburst 'for the rest of his life'.
"It wasn’t the ending we all want to see," he said.
"I’ll keep it short and sweet: for Cameron Menzies, I think he’ll regret that for the rest of his life. It was not a good watch."
talkSPORT pundits also described the moment as Chris Murphy told viewers that Menzies was ‘physically assaulting the drinks table’.
"The referee is telling him to get off the stage as quickly as possible and the crowd are booing him,” he continued.
"There's blood all over his hand."
Images also show Menzies leaving the stage with a pretty bloodied hand with it currently unclear if he’ll face punishment for the outburst.
Users on X called it ‘pathetic behaviour’ as others called for a ‘ban’.
Others, however, pointed out that he ‘knew he f*ed up and apologised’ as they suggested: “The crowd played their part too.”
