Plane passenger asks for help after looking out of plane window

The lad was baffled by his view as people didn't believe he was on a plane

Unless you’re fixated on binging the TV series you actually remembered to download before flying or you started sleeping the second you sat down, there’s not a lot else to pass the time on a plane.

Except for staring aimlessly out the windows while listening to your favourite tunes, I guess.

But one plane passenger’s experience left him asking for help as he was baffled by what he saw out that little oval window. Watch here:

Brad Stewart shared a video to TikTok of his bizarre view, racking up nearly 15 million views so far.

And he captioned it with the rather dramatic: “SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE.”

He was flying from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam over to Melbourne, Australia as he asked users: “Can somebody please tell me what these are?”

His video showed the dark night sky studded below with bright-neon coloured square and rectangular shapes.

Brad was left baffled by the view and users had plenty of theories as to what they are – many not so serious.

Plenty ‘see confetti’ as one joked: “Could be the world trying to render ur fast travel speed.”

Another also put: “Map hasn’t fully loaded yet.”

And one said: “It’s giant confetti plants… once the confetti is ready to pick they have to then cut it into the little pieces we see.”

While another added: “Genuinely thought ur filming a concert floor full of confetti.”

Others compared the shapes to ‘post-it notes’ and a ‘bowling alley carpet’.

However, one joked: “You’re flying through a mine craft server, it’s lava.”

While many were simply mind-boggled writing: “I can’t even tell if I’m really looking out of an airplane window or not?”

And another just called it a ‘glitch in the matrix’.

However, slightly more serious users pointed out that it’s just likely a view over ‘dragon fruit farms’.

With dragon fruit often grown in Vietnam, the farms use LED grow lights throughout the night-time to extend the growing season of the plants.

This means the lights can trick the dragon fruits plants into thinking its summer and therefore have them grow more and faster – boosting both yield and profit for farmers.

Brad was made up to get an answer as he said: “Wow that’s insane thank you!!!”

But others added: “My brain can’t do dragon fruit farms lol. I just see confetti.”

And: “How is this a Freaking Dragon Fruit Farm. It looks like confetti.”

With many agreeing they ‘learn something new every day’.
