Riley Reid shares the exact salary she demanded to shoot an adult movie

Riley Reid has shared the rate she charged to shoot adult films, and the tricks she used to maximise her payday.

The star, who started in the industry at 19 and now has over a decades worth of experience under her belt, has more or less moved away from traditional sites, choosing to primarily operate via OnlyFans instead.

She also makes money through her clothing brand, Eighteen Plus, and her AI companion, via Clona.ai.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that the average adult content creator will earn $1,300 (£1,030) per year - but statistics suggest that Reid, 34, is making a hell of a lot more.

In 2023, it was suggested that she’d raked in between $500,000 and $600,000 (£370,000/£444,000) from her OnlyFans account.

Five years on from making her debut on the platform, she remains one of the most followed people on the site.

Before her OnlyFans career, Reid - whose real name is Ashley Mathews - was the most searched-for performer on PornHub in 2017, and was still in the top ten this time last year.

Other accolades that the pornstar has collected over the years including Female Performer of the Year and the AVN Award for Female Performer of the Year in 2016.

Despite her credentials, the actress has previously admitted she no longer likes film adult content with men because of her ex-boyfriend.

"He made me feel like maybe I should quit and stuff... He didn't want to kiss me when I came home from work. So it made me feel like a disgusting person,” she said on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.

In 2022, the star - who is now married to Latvian free-runner Pasha Petkuns - opened up about her going-rate over the years.

On an appearance on It’s Daniel Mac, the icon admitted: “I kept my rate up at like over $5,000, like it was like $5k to $10k, for you know kind of dependant on the month and where I was.

“I was like 'okay I'll take some more a**, we could lower my rate' and I'm like 'uh let's raise it up because I've shot a lot recently'.

"So like when you see your first a***, your first DP and your first g***bang, a lot of times you can get a good chunk of chains.

"Sometimes girls can get like $10k, sometimes they can get $15k to $20k.

"So it kind of like depends on like what you do, like if you do a featured movie, you might be able to get like $30,000 if you shoot like a few scenes or whatever.”

She continued, claiming that ‘some girls can be really smart’ when it comes to porn paydays.

“When I did my first a***, I got paid like 15k for my first a***, but I made the company also agree to let me shoot my own a*** scene and release it at the same time on my website.

"So it wasn't like the same scene, they had a way better production quality and everything like that.

"But I was still able to monetise on my own site as well as with them advertising my a*** scene."
