Identical twins have been dressing the same for the last 84 years

Identical twins have been dressing the same for the last 84 years

Anne McQueen and Susan Briggs, octogenarian twins from Utah, have been dressing the same since birth.

Two 84-year-old twins have dressed the same ever since birth.

What in the Mary-Kate and Ashley?

Anne McQueen and Susan Briggs, octogenarian twins from Utah, have gone viral thanks to a couple of TikTok videos.

Anne's grandson-in-law, Mikey Metcalfe, has been documenting their matching outfits, raking up more than 17 million views for his videos.

This year, the two grandmothers decided to take it up a notch and dress like the twins from The Shining.

Double yikes.

A video posted by Mikey shows the pair sitting down watching the famous Stanley Kubrick horror movie as they turn to the grandson and mutter, ‘Come watch with us deary’ in unison.

I would prefer a swift kick to the head. Not today, Satan!

In the words of every crime podcaster, ‘full body chills’, people!

During an interview with The Washington Post, Anne and Susan revealed it all began when their mum dressed them alike when they were babies.

And whenever they would go shopping, the twins would purchase two of everything.

However, dressing the same definitely has its benefits, especially concerning pranks.

The sisters, both retired health and physical education teachers, admitted to The Washington Post that during April Fools Day, they used to play practical jokes on their students.

“Susan would walk in and start teaching with me in the class,” said Anne.

“We’d be in the same outfits. The students would just scream. They couldn’t believe it.”

However, fashion and DNA aren't their only commonalities.

The twins, who speak five times a day on their phone and catch up several times a week, are both cat lovers, avid hikers and watch the same TV shows, Survivor and The Voice.

However, every now and then, they do have their disagreements.

Rest assured, these two make-up immediately after.

“Ten minutes later, we’re good friends again,” said Susan.

“We never go anywhere without telling the other where we are. It was always that way.”
