'Time Traveller' Claims We'll Discover 'Another World' Deep Underground In 2023

Conspiracy theorists are going to have a field day with this one

A self-proclaimed ‘time traveller from the year 2906’ has headed to TikTok to suggest that we’ll discover ‘another world’ in 2023. Take a look:

But instead of uncovering alien life from a galaxy far away, user @timevoyaging reckons a parallel universe has been existing beneath our planet, wreaking havoc on our lives for years.

If anyone’s experiencing a spot of deja vu right now, it’s probably because their prediction sounds suspiciously like the plot of Jordan Peele’s Us.

But let’s hear them out.

In one of their most recent videos, the TikTok time jumper starts off by writing ‘yes, I’m a real time traveller’ so you know they’re legit.

They continue: “Another world inside Earth is soon discovered. On January 13, 2023, someone who is exploring deep, underground caves finds a giant hatch.

Sound familiar?

“This hatch leads to another world known as 'Azawa' where everything is new - species, liquids, air etc.

"The 'humans' of Azawa are very hostile and have been causing many problems such as 9/11 and others."

Conspiracy theorists are going to have a field day with this one. As for the rest of the online community, they’re not entirely convinced with the hypothesis.

"I'll believe you if u predict something that will happen in a few days," wrote one commenter.

Another said if time travellers really existed then they ‘wouldn't tell the world’ of their capabilities.

There were of course plenty of people on hand to poke fun at the clip, with many asking when the next season of Stranger Things will come out.

A second wrote: "Will this affect fortnite servers?"

And then there were those who demanded @timevoyaging to deliver some proof, but it appears they’re not ready to do so just yet.

"If you are a real time traveller then show us a video in your time," wrote one, to which the TikToker replied, "I am not able to, as I am not allowed to bring anything through the Domain of Fusion."

Yep, definitely don’t want to be screwing with the Domain of Fusion.

Whether or not we will discover the so-called world of Azawa next year is yet to be seen, but judging by the myriad of TikTok time traveller predictions that haven’t come true, it seems highly unlikely.

For example, last year Aery Yormany (@aesthetictimewarper) warned us to watch out for three key dates in September.

We're still waiting to hear about a 'talking chimpanzee'.

They told people to expect to witness everything from aliens transporting humans to a planet named Proxima B to the discovery of a talking chimpanzee.

Unless we missed something, none of these events materialised. Let's see how this next prediction holds up, but don’t go making your doomsday plans just yet.
