An Australian woman who made over a million dollars on OnlyFans before quitting the platform has talked about the moment her son found out what she did for a living.

Lucy Banks started posting content on the site after she got divorced and at one point said she achieved her 'greatest day ever' after the dad of a girl who bullied her in school became a subscriber.

The Australian model said she earned around $3,000 in her first month on OnlyFans and ended up making more money as she pushed for a larger number of subscribers.

However, while the family members of her childhood enemy were very pleased about her being on the site, some members of Banks' own family were less thrilled.

Lucy said that some of her family 'didn’t talk to me for 18 months' and she 'fell out with my entire friend group'.

She stuck with it for a while longer and made a lot of money from OnlyFans, but recently told From the Newsroom about the moment one of her kids found out.

Banks explained that she started on OnlyFans as her children asked her if she kept having to send them to daycare and it 'broke her'.

She initially kept her face hidden but said she 'became more and more comfortable' and could charge more too, and was able to make time for her family.

While she attempted to keep her children from knowing what she did, Banks told the podcast that someone else found out and told her eldest son, who was aged 11 at the time.

"Somebody told him. I was so careful to make sure that they were shielded from everything," Banks explained as she went on to speak about her son's reaction.

"It wasn’t fair that somebody else told him, but he was so cool about it. I had a conversation with him and he’s like, ‘It’s fine. People do worse things for money.'"

She then said he started talking about increasing her subscription price, but she told her son: "Mate, no, I’m not having this conversation with you."

While she earned over a million dollars in her four years on OnlyFan,s she eventually stopped making content for the site as she found that it wasn't 'fun for me anymore' and reckoned it was 'time to stop'.

Nowadays, she runs a marketing agency for OnlyFans models called Million Billion Media and doesn't regret stepping away from the platform.
