Baba Vanga may have died in 1996, but it hasn't stopped some of her controversial prophecies from coming true.
Born Vangeliya Pandeva Gushertova, the Bulgarian mystic is believed to have foreseen the 1986 Chernobyl disaster and 9/11, while also predicting 'shattering earthquakes' and similar events so far in 2025.
One of these related to Ethiopia's Hayli Gubbi volcano, which erupted in late November and blew clouds of volcanic ash into the sky, disrupting local farmers and affecting travel in the area.
It's alleged that Vanga predicted that dormant volcanoes would erupt this year and the one in question had been dormant for 12,000 years prior to its eruption.

Many still doubt the legitimacy of the seemingly clairvoyant Vanga, though others tend to listen when more of her predictions are revealed, and it seems like we could be in for a big one this month.

Her predictions over a war in Europe have been seemingly proven right, with the conflict between Russia and Ukraine raging on following Vladimir Putin's decision to reject Donald Trump's peace deal.
Though some remain sceptical about the vague nature of Vanga's predictions, supporters argue that many have come to fruition in the years after her death - though her prophecies extend up to the year 5079.
But one prediction appears to have stood out as we enter the last month of 2025 and it's all to do with aliens and sports, apparently.

Vanga reportedly foresaw that Earth would finally make contact with extraterrestrial life during a 'major sporting event', though we have already passed the Super Bowl, Wimbledon, Champions League Final, and other landmark sporting games this year and seen no signs of aliens.
There are still opportunities for alien life to touch down though, with a number of games and matches taking place across the world this month, meaning footy fans could all be caught off guard by UFOs while watching their team face off in the unforgiving winter cold.
She didn't state what their intentions would be, but if it were to happen, it would shock people around the world.
And with interstellar object 3I/ATLAS soon coming back into view, there's still a slim chance of this coming true.

While this occasion would be a landmark in human history, there's more yet to come true from Vanga's many predictions, with one being the development of human telepathy.
Life could be so much easier if we could hear what others were thinking, but the mystic allegedly predicted that scientists would find a way to harness brainwaves and use them for direct communication, without the use of mobile devices.
Once again, this would be revolutionary but it would come as a seismic shock if the next four weeks involved the announcement of human telepathy being possible.
Guess we'll just have to wait and see!
