How much Sydney Sweeney's bathwater is set to make when it goes on sale

Stop the world, I want to get off

There's no doubt that the world has got a lot weirder in the last few years and now, Sydney Sweeney is the latest celebrity to take advantage of the strange blokes out there by selling her bathwater.

The Anyone But You star announced on Instagram recently that she was teaming up with soap-making brand Dr Squatch to launch a new soap bar, featuring her own bathwater.

She had previously starred in an ad for the brand, where she was using their soap, and it's now been revealed that they decided to keep her leftover water to make a new product just for fans of the film star.

Sweeney, who perhaps first made a name for herself as Cassie in Euphoria, has previously opened up about the reality of filming sex scenes in Hollywood, and the awkward conversations that follow with her family.

But she might have even more explaining to do after signing herself up to this particular collaboration, which looks to be set to make some pretty big bucks.

Speaking on her new business deal, the Washington-born star said: "When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it, or turn it into a bar of Dr. Squatch soap.

"It’s weird in the best way, and I love that we created something that’s not just unforgettable, it actually smells incredible and delivers like every other Dr. Squatch product I love.

"Hopefully, this helps guys wake up to the realities of conventional personal care products and pushes them towards natural."

While there are only 5,000 of the bars set to be available, this is likely to land the brand a combined $40,000, if they all sell out at $8 a piece.

Given the success other celebrities have had with exposing other strange fetishes, such as the blokes obsessed with Margot Robbie's feet and the Harry Potter star who takes weird requests on OnlyFans, you'd imagine that they will probably fly off the shelves.

While $8 might seem expensive for a bar of soap, it's described as 'the ultimate blend of outdoor serenity with refreshing notes of pine, douglas fir, earthy moss, and a touch of Sydney's Bathwater Bliss'.

The bar of soap 'channels two of the best places on Earth: the great outdoors and Sydney Sweeney’s bathtub,' a press release from the brand said.

While it seems crazy, Sweeney isn't even the first big name on social media to sell their bathwater, and frankly I don't even want to imagine what those who buy it decide to do with it.
