There's a new strongman in town going by the name of 'Iranian Hulk,' who's been punching concrete to train for an upcoming fight in April. Here's everything we know about him.
The Iranian Hulk - aka Sajad Gharibi - is an Iranian bodybuilder, weightlifter and MMA fighter. He's also known as 'the Persian Hercules.'
Born on 19th December 1999 in Ahvaz, Khuzestan, Iran, Gharibi turns 30-years-old on his birthday in 2021.
Gharibi became an internet sensation for his physique and has even been cast in films. He posts photos of his physique, videos of him training and promotes his upcoming fights on his social media channels.
The Iranian Hulk has more than 600,000 followers on Instagram at the time of this article's publication and
Gharibi also has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Azad University in Bushehr, Iran, which is where he currently lives.
Gharibi reportedly weighs a whopping 390 lbs (177 kg). According to reports, there have been some accusations that he has more fat than muscle mass and that he photoshops his photos, but no evidence has been found of this.
Gharibi is 6 ft, 2" (1.87m) tall.
Gharibi is currently preparing for his next fight, which is against Martyn Ford in April 2022 and it's been dubbed a bout between 'the world's scariest men'.
These two fighting machines are set to get in the ring on 2nd April 2022 in London.
And of course, both fighters have taken part in a healthy level of mud-slinging on social media in the lead up to the date. In November 2021, Iranian Hulk posted a bizarre workout video of him punching concrete walls, ripping apart melons, bending metal and t**t tyres with a sledgehammer.
Captioning his post, the 29-year-old said: "YES THIS IS PERSONAL... Iranian Hulk never stops.
"See you April 2nd @martynfordofficial."
