British Stranger Things Viewers Make Same Observation About Four Big Characters From Show

While we're still coming to terms with the end of Stranger Things 4, here's a pretty fun fact to quench your thirst for more Hawkins content.

Look, we've all had that moment where you've heard someone do a perfect American accent on screen, only to realise they're from the UK; the first time we heard Tom Holland's real voice we spun out.

While it may not be shocking to find out that the American band of teenagers battling to escape the Upside Down aren't actually all American, you might not know just how many are actually putting accents on.

Yes it's a given that Eleven (Milly Bobbi Brown) is British but she's not the only one.

For starters, Johnathan (Charlie Heaton) is from Bridlington, Yorkshire. Yep, northerners have full bragging rights to claim the quiet but protective big brother.

Second up is Eddie (Joseph Quinn) himself. While we're still not over Eddie's epic guitar solo this season, we found out that he's also a London boy, which is, arguably, more shocking than the season finale.

Even Vecna himself (Jamie Campbell Bower) is also a fellow Londoner, while Vickie (Amybeth McNulty) is representing our Irish girls.

People on Twitter were just as shocked by the revelation, with one user saying: "Every time I learn one of the Stranger Things actors is English I am shook. y'all have no business doing such flawless American accents."

One found the whole thing pretty hilarious: "I love watching Stranger Things and then going to watch interviews to hear the British actors' accents, it's so funny to me for no reason."
