Rebel Wilson has thanked her fans for their support following her recent weight loss.

The 40-year-old actor wowed her followers after posting a snap of herself in a tight-fitting blue dress yesterday.

Today she's uploaded some more photos of herself in the same outfit, alongside the caption: "Thanks for all the love so far on my 'Year of Health' journey - when I was reaching for the candies last night after dinner, I thought to myself, 'hmmmm... better not' and had a bottle of water instead x 8kgs to go until I hit my goal - hopefully I can do it by the end of the year x".

Just like her previous post, this one has been flooded with praise and compliments from fans, with one person writing: "You're an amazing inspiration, I've been following along and it makes me want to motivate myself too! And you look as beautiful as always!"

Another wrote: "You have always been beautiful and your journey for health is so inspiring!"

A third added: "So proud of you for sticking to your goals! I wish I could! You're my inspiration. But you've also taught me to love my body no matter what it looks like. So, I thank you for that."

The Aussie star said back in January that 2020 was going to be her 'Year of Health' and she's stuck to her word, and is believed to have lost around 18kg (2.8 stone) as well on focusing on the 'mental side' and working out with a personal trainer.

Speaking to The Sun in June, Rebel said: "I turned 40 as well in March and so I thought, 'This is gonna be it. This is going to be the year for me to just concentrate on the health benefits.'

"It's not like I want to lose weight and get to around a certain number. It's more than that, it's about dealing mentally with why I was overeating and I had a job where I was paid a lot of money to be bigger, at times, which kind of can mess with your head a bit.

"So now I'm just trying to work on the mental side and the physical job and doing a lot of personal training. On the nutrition side... it's cool, I should probably write a book at some point about it because people seem to be interested."
