It is common knowledge that Seth Rogen enjoys a spliff or two. After all, he's basically forged a reputation for himself as an actor-cum-comedian-cum-stoner, and a lot of his on-screen characters are also partial to a bit of weed.
As such, when he appears on chat shows and the like to plug a new film, the 37-year-old is often asked about his green-fingered hobby.
However, in his most recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he revealed that weed is more than just a hobby for him - it's a daily way of life.
Colbert asked: "I know you are not your characters, but you do enjoy the occasional marijuana cigarette, my understanding is...?"

To which Rogen replied: "Yeah, I smoke weed all day every day of my life."
Snoop Dogg would be proud.
You have to figure though that the Pineapple Express star was being a little hyperbolic here, for how could he get through all his work commitments if he was high all the time? Well, it seems Rogen is a functioning stoner.
Inquiring as to whether his smoking ever overlapped with his work, Colbert asked: "Have you ever acted [while] high?"

Rogen replied: "For the last 20 years, exclusively."
So it seems Rogen has done pretty well really, forging himself a career that has earned him fame and fortune, high all the while.
Continuing his line of inquiry, Colbert asked: "Do you ever want a snack in the middle of a scene?"

Rogen replied: "There are scenes where you get to eat and that is a lovely thing.
"But yeah, I do smoke a lot of weed. Yes, I do actually enjoy weed in my personal life and on film."
Colbert said: "So keep in mind, any movie we see you in, there's a fairly good chance that you're high."
"There's a 100 percent [chance], yeah," Rogen replied.
That's quite an impressive feat, really. But I guess it's only been possible because of the kind of films he tends to star in: Superbad, Knocked Up and the like.

If he manages to make an unexpected genre shift to action or psychological thrillers while maintaining his daily habit then that would be a real accomplishment - and a performance we'd probably all quite like to see.
