Back in the 2000s, Amanda Bynes looked set to become a staple of film and TV for many years to come.
The American actress, who shot to fame after starring in What a Girl Wants and She's The Man, seemed to have everything you need to become a success in Hollywood, but her film career would prove to be relatively short-lived.
Although she went on to appear in Hairspray and Easy A alongside A-list actors such as Emma Stone and Zac Efron, she hasn't featured in anything since that 2010 comedy hit, which has left everyone wondering what happened.
Now 39, Bynes has become a regular on social media to share her story, but she was quick to deny some of the viral allegations that were launched against former Nickelodeon executive Dan Schneider recently, which claimed he had gotten her pregnant when she was just 13 years old.

What claims were made against Dan Schneider?
Schneider worked at Nickelodeon between 1994 to 2018 but faced significant controversy in 2018, with a number of former child stars speaking out about the director's alleged inappropriate conduct.
Former Amanda Show (which starred Bynes) writer Jenny Kilgen alleged that Schneider asked for a massage in exchange for her sketches being put in the show.
"He would always present it like a joke... he would be laughing while he said it," Kilgen claimed. "But it always felt like disagreeing with Dan or standing up for yourself could result in you getting fired."
He has since apologised for his behaviour, saying: "I apologise to anybody that I ever put in that situation, and even additionally, I apologise to the people who were walking around video village or wherever they happened, because there were lots of people there who witnessed it who also may have felt uncomfortable."
However, Schneider's name was thrust into the spotlight once again recently after the viral video made horrific claims about a potential relationship with Bynes when she was a young teenager; however, she has since come out to deny these claims.
Where is Bynes now?
Bynes has struggled with her health in recent years, spending time at a number of different mental health facilities, while she's also had run-ins with the law, including two alleged hit-and-runs and even allegedly starting a fire in a stranger's driveway.

She also went through a nine-year period where her parents served as her conservators, as they managed her financial affairs, something that also occurred with Britney Spears.
However, she was released from that in 2022 and has seemingly put her focus into social media ever since, starting a brief podcast and sharing regular updates on her TikTok channel.
She recently revealed that she was joining OnlyFans, although only to chat with fans rather than share explicit content, while she also confirmed that she's starting an Ozempic journey.
“Oh, I’m going on Ozempic. So excited. I’m 173 now so I hope to get down to like 130, which would be awesome so I look better in paparazzi pictures," she said.
