Brandi Glanville comments on ‘boring’ sons never trying cocaine

Let’s be honest, she wouldn’t truly be Brandi Glanville if she wasn’t occasionally passing some mad off-hand comment that goes viral.

And this time it’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s remark about her sons that is doing the rounds.

The 53-year-old has commented on them being ‘boring’ as she says they’ve never tried doing cocaine.

Glanville is mum to Mason, 23, and Jake, 19, who she shares with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian (the pair married in 2001 and announced their separation in 2009).

With the eldest of legal age in the US, his famously candid mum says they ‘don’t even like to drink’ when chatting about them during an episode of her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast.

The topic came up when she was chatting about when her Real Housewives cast mates accused her of doing drugs on the show.

“Well, I mean, let’s be clear – we’ve all done cocaine,” Glanville claimed, “well, in the 90s.”

The former model then went on to point out that she personally hasn’t done the Class A drug ‘since fentanyl came out’.

Her co-host, James Maas, went on to jokingly quip: “Now she has drug-testing kits to make sure it’s good.”

While, it’s not exactly clear if she’s actually being serious, Glanville says: “I got them for the kids.”

However, she then goes on to say: “But luckily, my kids don’t do cocaine ‘cause they’re boring.

“But that’s okay, I love that they’re boring.

“They don’t even like to drink. I’m like, ‘What do you do? Where is your life?'”

While saying she ‘likes it for them’ she added ‘not really’.

“I mean, I just want them to party more,” Glanville confessed. “Not like cocaine.”

Glanville began co-parenting Mason and Jake with Cibrian following their divorce but has previously admitting to have struggled with sharing them.

The couple’s separation came after the famous revelation the actor had begun an affair with LeAnn Rimes.

In 2023, Glanville said to PEOPLE that she ‘sometimes cries’ when her sons leave to stay at their dad’s house.

“They have a staff. They have this giant mansion. They have kind of everything they want,” she said of Cibrian and Rimes’ home. “And with me, we have a small house and we move every other year. And it’s hard, you know, they see the struggle is real.”

Having said that she had made amends with Rimes in 2018, she spent Christmas with the couple in recent years.

“You guys don’t understand the love I have for these children,” the Housewives star said on her podcast at the time. “Like, I would take a bullet for them.”

With Cibrian in her life ‘for the rest of her life’ because of their two sons, Glanville previously joked that she and Rimes are ‘like sister wives’ as they ‘both love the kids’.
