In the latest instalment of weird, inexplicable things that celebrities do, here's a video of Cardi B's placenta being immortalised (in a way).
As someone who doesn't understand a lot of what Hollywood's elite do, this may take the cake when it comes to odd social media finds.
It's a side of Instagram most of us wouldn't have known existed, but a video of a specialist jeweller taking the rapper's placenta and making it into a unique golden item.
Back on 6 November, Cardi B, real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, gave birth to her first baby with NFL superstar boyfriend Stefon Diggs.

It is the couple's first child together, though Cardi is already a mum to three kids with ex-husband Offset, while Diggs is a father to two from past relationships.

To commemorate the birth of the child, the 'Bodak Yellow' artist did what a number of other celebrities have also recently decided to do, and give her placenta to a jeweller called Mommy Made Encapsulation.
They have made a business around turning the circular organ into lifelong jewellery which could retail for up to four figures.
If you're wondering how they do it, then not to fear, as an incredibly graphic video showed fans exactly how it's done.
The jeweller, with pink gloves on, first posted a video of the placenta in a dish with the tag 'Cardi B (Round 2)', having already turned her one-year-old Blossom's placenta into jewellery in 2024.
In a later video, she could be seen taking the umbilical cord, which was dyed blue, and cutting it down the middle to make an incision, before using a heart-shaped wire, inserting it through the cord to form the design.
Extra limbs were snipped to get the perfect shape, as ends of the cord were then molded together and pushed down in a presser to flatten them out and dehydrate them.

The final step involves coating the cord in gold, with the heart-shaped umbilical cord now set to be used for a statement necklace piece.
Apparently, the company has made over 40,000 placentas into jewellery, with packages starting at $500 (£380) and going up to near $1,000 (£760) with add-ons such as placenta prints.
A-listers such as Megan Fox, Vanessa Hudgens and Chrissy Teigen have also been customers in the past, choosing to make jewellery out of their umbilical cords.

Writing in the video's caption, the creator noted: "Where her journey started… turned into a keepsake she’ll treasure forever."
She said that the umbilical cord 'is the very first connection between a mother and her baby', saying that it's 'an honour' to create keepsakes like this for mums.
"But doing it for Cardi and her sweet baby again means the world to us," she noted, saying that making something that can be 'cherished forever' is one of the main reasons they do what they do.
To each their own, I guess.
