Elon Musk summed up his relationship with Amber Heard in incredibly blunt way
Elon Musk is no stranger to making headlines, and often for a variety of topics.
While politics and tech are often what he is now known for, his love life is also something that is sometimes revealed.
The Tesla CEO is rumoured to have 13 children from four different mothers, and in a recent press engagement, he was seen to have one of his younger children sitting on his shoulders, while President Trump was sitting on a desk next to him.

However, beyond the speculation, Elon has outright spoken about his love life, mentioning one celebrity in particular - Amber Heard. Elon first connected with the Aquaman actor after seeing her in the 2013 film Machete Kills.
It wasn’t until after Heard’s divorce in 2017 that a romantic relationship surfaced between Elon and Amber.
Details about the two is shared in Walter Isaacson's 2023 authorised biography of Musk, titled Elon Musk, which speaks of their year-long tryst being of an off-and-on nature.
In the book, Musk was very blunt in describing his relationship with Amber.
“It was brutal,” he simply told Isaacson.
The early stages of their relationship involved trying to balance busy work commitments, as well as times when Amber would fly to the Tesla factory in California for Musk’s birthday as a surprise.
Musk would also reportedly visit Amber in Australia while she was filming for Aquaman. A notable connection that bonded the two was their interest in nerd culture.
Speaking about her geeky side with Isaacson, Amber admitted: "I guess I could be called a geek for someone who can also be called a hot chick."
Despite there being some connection there, within a year, the relationship ended as packed schedules prompted them to part ways.
The two seem to now be amicable, as Musk posted on Instagram at the time of their split: "Although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close and love one another. Long distance relationships when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds."
In the Isaacson biography, Amber shared: "I love him very much. Elon loves fire, and sometimes it burns him."
The pair’s relationship reportedly started in 2016 at the Met Gala, when Heard was apparently stood up by her husband at the time, Johnny Depp.
The actress spoke about this event in the high-profile trial she was in against Depp after their marriage ended.
“I was standing in line, right in front of a gentleman. It was Elon", she recalled. "I didn't recognise him until we started talking. He reminded me that we had met once before when he was with his mother."
