Dax Shepard set record straight on Kristen Bell relationship as she makes controversial cheating admission
After Kristen Bell gave a hugely surprising answer about how she would feel if her husband Dax Shepard cheated, Shepard's previous comments about sexual exclusivity have resurfaced.
The Good Place star and her husband are never far from controversy, especially when it comes to Instagram posts, and they've faced their fair share of backlash in recent weeks.
In the aftermath of a particularly peculiar anniversary post, where she included a rather strange comment from her husband as the caption, Bell was asked about cheating in relationships.
While most people are vehemently against their partners looking elsewhere for some bedroom action, the 45-year-old didn't seem to be all that bothered.

She said: “Kind of who cares, to be honest? I also know we’re monkeys. We’re both attracted to other people. We’re married. We’re not dead.
“But I don’t know that everyone has the privilege of this much confidence in their relationship.”
Naturally, given the conversation about swingers and open relationships these days as people become far more open about what happens in their relationships, this led some people to speculate that the celebrity couple also enjoy the likes of swinging or soft-swapping.
Kristen also told You Magazine in 2018: “I see the benefits of a society with monogamous relationships, but it's difficult because you're still attracted to other people."
However, Dax has previously made it clear that rumours he and his wife, who share two children together, hosted swinging parties are not true.
Speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show last year, the 50-year-old said: "The most exciting tabloid story was that we were Hollywood swingers. We were swingers, and we hosted swing parties. This was in the tabloids.
"My favourite part of that happening was we got a lot of texts from other friends of ours saying, 'How could you not have invited me to the swinger party?'"
He also revealed that on the back of the misguided media reports, they've even received some jokey texts from friends about their new pineapple-themed lifestyle.
"And they were joking, of course, because they know us, and they know we're not hosting swinger parties.
He added: "It was great to receive a text from [Jimmy] Kimmel saying, 'My feelings are quite hurt that Molly and I weren't invited to this swingers party'."
However, it is perhaps easy to understand why some people might have believed it, especially as Dax was previously in a nine-year open relationship before meeting and subsequently marrying Kristen back in 2013.
The Armchair Expert podcast host admitted: "I had been in an open relationship for nine years; I was blacked out a big chunk of my life. You know, there were a lot of things for her [Kristen] to be concerned about."
