Diddy fans squirt baby oil on each other after verdict is announced

Supporters of Sean 'Diddy' Combs bizarrely doused themselves in baby oil while erupting into celebration outside court yesterday (2 July).

Fans were filmed cheering, applauding, and dancing in jubilation after the jury's decision was announced on Wednesday afternoon, bringing eight long weeks of legal proceedings to a close.

Diddy, 55, was sensationally cleared of three out of five charges which prosecutors had levied against him following his bombshell arrest in September last year - during which hundreds of bottles of baby oil were seized by police.

Jurors found the rapper not guilty of the most serious offences, racketeering and sex trafficking, after an arduous two-month trial which featured several famous faces and harrowing testimony.

However, Combs was convicted of two counts of transportation for prostitution in relation to his former girlfriends, Cassie Ventura and a woman known only as her pseudonym, Jane.

Although it wasn't a clean sweep, fans of the disgraced rapper who had rallied outside of the Manhattan courthouse didn't seem to care.

A crowd of people were seen dancing and shouting 'woo hoo', before one woman took centre stage as she removed a bright blue wig from her head and gratefully accepted the baby oil being squirted on her body.

The man doing the drenching in the shock footage, Tes Harper, was more than happy to oblige as the woman yelled: "I want that baby oil!"

Speaking to the New York Post about what he thought of the verdict, Harper said: "I’m happy he beat the RICO charge. I’m happy he is going home to his family.

"It was a case of two trials going on simultaneously. One was with the evidence and the other was what the prosecution was alleging."

Another supporter - who made a trip to New York from Kentucky to be outside court when the verdict was announced - said: "He shouldn’t have been guilty of anything but they gotta pin him with something.

"He needs to get out ASAP until they sentence him. Justice for Diddy."

As most people are now aware after listening to the vivid details of Diddy's sex life which were laid out over the last two months, the rapper has a thing for baby oil.

His former partner of more than a decade, Ventura, testified that he would order her to apply the lubricant to her body repeatedly while taking part in drug-fuelled 'freak offs'.

"Sean wanted it heated and he wanted it to be glistening," Ventura told the court in May. "So we applied every five minutes."

The singer also claimed that Combs had once ordered her to climb into an inflatable pool filled with baby oil - while still wearing her clothes - at a swanky hotel in Beverly Hills.

After explaining that she did not want to participate, Ventura then added: "If it was something Combs wanted to happen, that’s what was going to happen."

Jane also discussed Combs penchant for baby oil on the stand, and once recalled how she nearly 'slipped' on the lubricant covering the floor while wearing extremely high heels.

She told the court she 'wore really high, high, high heels for dancers, for stripper girls' which Combs had requested.

When the baby oil was brought out, Jane said of the night: "I just remember my feet being really sticky and oily and I would try to remain balanced. Maybe a couple times I slipped."

The unnamed witness also revealed that Diddy would instruct her to apply baby oil to both herself and escorts who joined them, the court heard.

"How to use baby oil on the man and how to touch myself while it was happening," Jane testified. "I remember Sean would say things like, 'Do you want to taste it, or do this, or just let it hang or drip, or just touch yourself'."
