Gordon Ramsay has broken his silence on the ongoing feud between his family and the Peaty family.
Adam Peaty, the Olympic gold medallist swimmer, became the chef's son-in-law when he married his daughter Holly at the back end of 2025.
What promised to be a beautiful celebration was somewhat overshadowed after Adam's mother Caroline dropped the bombshell that she had not been invited following weeks of gossip regarding a family feud.
Although Gordon might have a reputation for being angry, he was surprisingly delighted with the idea of his daughter marrying one of the world's best breaststrokers, and he was even 'lost for words' when they confirmed that they would go by Mr and Mrs Ramsay Peaty the night before the wedding.

However, the celebrity chef was more upset about the situation regarding his new in-laws, which sadly saw them missing from the December wedding.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he spoke about the 'upsetting' situation: "It’s all self-inflicted from their side, because we’ve done nothing – none of what you’ve read: no rudeness, no ignorance – we welcomed them.
"We sent a chauffeur-driven car for them to come to the engagement party and treated them like royalty. So to get that barrage of press was very hurtful. Tana took it very seriously."

He added: "It was Adam and Holly’s wishes for them not to attend and so we had to respect that. There’s stuff they need to sort out as parents. That’s nothing to do with Tana and me. But we are very mindful we want to move on and allow Holly and Adam to continue starting their lives together."
Caroline had also spoken to the Daily Mail on the eve of the wedding to share her disappointment that she wouldn't be able to see her son get married.
She said: “Me going would just cause even more of a storm and I don’t want to ruin his wedding day. I wanted to be there quietly to watch him get married, but that can’t happen now.
"I don’t know if they are too young or don’t value family as much as I have, but they don’t understand that family is the foundation to everything.”

It seems as if the feud first began when Caroline wasn't invited to Holly's hen do, with Adam's aunt slamming the bride on a now-deleted Instagram post.
She wrote: "@hollyramsayy I'm so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person, you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman who I have loved and continue to love deeply."
The message continued: "A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her, your prospective mother-in-law, to your hen night, yet Adam invited his father-in-law, your dad, to his stag night.
"You invited your mum (quite rightly) and even your mum's assistant, your sisters, your friends, my niece, but not my sister, your future mother-in-law. I have also seen messages passing between her and Adam about this and other matters, and, quite frankly, I expected better of you and definitely of Adam. You have inflicted a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever."
Family feuds certainly seem to be the flavour of the month, given another wedding between Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz led him to distance himself entirely from his parents David and Victoria, with the latter incidentally earning herself an invite to Adam's wedding and Holly's hen do.
