Jack Whitehall can't watch Leonardo DiCaprio movies after finding out that he dated his girlfriend

Quite the ex-boyfriend for Whitehall's significant other!

No one really wants to know much about their partner's previous romantic encounters.

But there's no way to avoid it when that past lover is none other than Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio.

And this is a very real situation for British comedian Jack Whitehall.

He's been dating his girlfriend Roxy Horner for more than four years now, and they've recently welcomed their first child together.

But before him, there was the Titanic and The World of Wall Street star.

It's a hot topic for Whitehall who has included Horner's encounter with DiCaprio in one of his special stand up gigs.

The issue is addressed in his Netflix special, Settle Down, which was filmed at London's O2 Arena.

Whitehall, who is more than comfortable when it comes to self-deprecating humour, got on to the topic of following in the footsteps of an Oscar winner known by everyone.

He says: "That is a great act to have to follow. You know how depressing that is."

Whitehall then cheekily turns his attention to a sly dig on DiCaprio, saying that Horner would no longer be of interest to the actor given that she's now 32.

He said: "I mean mainly depressing knowing that the only reason your girlfriend is with you is because she turned 26."

Whitehall is, of course, referring to DiCaprio's track record of dating women in their early to mid 20s.

It's safe to say DiCaprio and Horner's romantic years are well behind both, with the model welcoming her and Whitehall's daughter Elsie back in September 2023.

But the baby's due date didn't go down to well with the couple.

He says in his Netflix special: "The nurse got all shifty. She said - 'the due date is going to be somewhere between the 10th of September and the 12th of September'.

"I went - 'It feels like there’s a date slap bang in the middle there, but for some reason you don’t want to say'.

"That is because my baby’s due date is 9/11. Roxy was very upset about that, but I was a little more pragmatic. I didn’t think it was going to affect our lives in any serious way.

"I mean it probably rules out the name Osama, but it wasn’t high on the list."

Roxy and Jack named their daughter Elsie.

Thankfully for the couple, Elsie was born on 6 September.

Whitehall's Jungle Cruise co-star Dwayne Johnson was happy to provide his own opinion on what her name should be, though, before the couple made the announced.

He joked: "Rock, DJ, Dwayne or Dwanette... all amazing names!"
