Jeremy Clarkson has been slammed on X for his posts about climate change, with fans pointing out that Clarkson’s Farm should have been a lesson for the TV presenter.
Clarkson started out his farm-based show after the man running a farm he bought as an investment, Diddly Squat, decided to retire, leading the former Top Gear man to take things over.
With the help of Kaleb Cooper however, and four seasons of experience, Clarkson has finally gotten the point where he has become relatively adept at running Diddly Squat farm.
In a new odd set of posts on X however Clarkson has continued his years long jabs about climate change.

The TV presenter posted on X on Sunday night, 8 March, about ‘how much better Country File had got in recent years’, adding: “Tonight’s show is proper. No stupid people hugging trees and humming. Just proper farming stuff.”

Later in the same night thought he posted: “No wait. They’ve brought climate change into it. As you were.”
This should not come as a surprise to fans of the Top Gear presenter, who has made pointed jokes about climate change for years.
In the past Clarkson had said: “I do have a disregard for the environment.
“I think the world can look after itself and we should enjoy it as best we can.”
Despite this though, fans on X took the Top Gear presenter to task over his jab at Country File discussing climate change.
One viral tweet from a councillor in Cardiff Dan De’Ath said: “Every season of Clarkson’s Farm highlights how unprecedented rain, drought, or heat can cause massive problems. His own show reveals the real consequences of climate change.”
De’Ath went on to accuse Clarkson of owning Diddly Squat as a ‘tax dodge’, suggesting that’s why he doesn’t care.
Clarkson however has hit back, saying in a reply: “God almighty. Someone elected you?
“Let’s hope that next time around the good people of Wales cause you to not have a job anymore.”
If you really dig deep however Clarkson has shown he recognises climate change is real, but shouldn’t be surprised when his repeated jokes come back to bite him on the arse.
Speaking in 2024, Clarkson said: “Everyone assumes the character they see on motoring shows is me, but it’s exaggerated.
“To think that I was like I was on Top Gear is the same as thinking that Anthony Hopkins is a cannibal.”
Asked specifically about his previous climate change comments he said: “That was part of the caricature.
“That was part of the joke.”
