Justin Bieber has opened up about his experience while his wife, Hailey, gave birth.
Having married back in 2018, the couple welcomed their first son, Jack Blues, in August 2024.
The Biebers have kept much of their baby’s and family’s life out of the public eye, but following his new album that is stacked with personal tracks, SWAG II, the singer has been revealing a few extra details.
He recently divided opinion with his definition of cheating and also shared the 10 rules that their family should aim to live by, including: “We value life as a gift and practice daily gratitude for the day that has been given to us.”

And in a Twitch stream earlier this week, the ‘Never Say Never’ singer opened up about what went down while his wife was in labour as he admitted to feeling ‘pushed aside’.

Bieber revealed that he and Hailey’s doula got into an argument when Jack was being born.
"I remember dealing with, like... There was tension with," the 31-year-old recalled. "Cause we had a doula, and then we had a nurse as well. And the nurse and the doula were really kind of butting heads."
The former child star said he and the doula - somewhat similar to a midwife, these are non-medical professionals who provide support and guidance to a person during their pregnancy, labour and postpartum - were then also 'butting heads'.

Bieber continued: “And I was hella emotional because it's like, this is one of the most important times of your life, and I remember just like, I think I was being really strong with the doula.”
He went on to say that the tension in the room then made his wife feel anxious as she made him reply to the doula.

Hailey apparently told him: “You need to apologise to the doula,” in a bid to ‘just clear the air’.
Having said sorry to her, he remembered making it clear how important Jack’s birth was for him too, while his wife was in labour.

He recalled saying: “I don't want you to take away from my moment either as the dad. I got this too.”
Bieber added of the birth: “There's times when I need to console Hailey, and I felt like she was pushing me to the side so that she could do [her job]."
Hailey previously told Vogue that giving birth was ‘the hardest thing’ she has ever done, having laboured for 18 hours without an epidural.
After she gave birth to a seven-pound Jack, Hailey began bleeding ‘really badly’ and while she trusted her doctor in the emergency, she was in great pain and just ‘wanted to be with’ her son.
