Kelly Brook's husband issues heartbreaking response following I'm A Celeb shower scene

Kelly Brook's husband Jeremy Parisi has responded to the people trolling her after she took a shower on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The model is currently in the jungle and before she went on I'm A Celeb, she had asked viewers to be 'accepting of me and how I look now' as she told the Mirror she was 'not a 20-year-old bikini model anymore' and she didn't want people to compare her now to how she used to look.

"You know, I am a very different person. I am older, but I am still strong and I am still fit, and that is the most important thing," she had said.

I'm A Celeb did indeed air Brook having a shower and her husband had said he knew a lot of people 'have been wanting to see Kelly in her swimwear'.

However, he also hit back at some of the people who had been trolling her for the moment.

It seems as though Brook was right to predict that I'm A Celeb would film her showering and that some viewers would take the opportunity to criticise the 46-year-old for no longer looking the way she did a couple of decades ago.

Parisi hit back at those trolls as he told the Mirror it was 'hard' for women to face scrutiny over their bodies, though he was ultimately 'happy' to see his wife.

He said: "I'm so happy to see Kelly being so confident and happy in her own skin, it's hard for women in the public eye to be put under such scrutiny but she is a positive role model for so many women which is something she should be proud of."

Brook's husband has also said it's tough being apart from her on her birthday, which is today (23 November), since it's the first time in a decade they've not been together for the occasion.

He's flying out to Australia tomorrow as we get closer to the time when celebrities will be voted off the show, and she did have a little bit of a party before going into the jungle but naturally he still misses his wife.

Brook's family have also hit back at Kelly Osbourne after a camp spat between the model and Jack Osbourne.

There was an argument in camp where Brook was making some food and Osbourne offered to cut things up for her, with her accepting but later claiming privately he'd 'elbowed her aside'.

Kelly Osbourne had posted on social media that she thought Brook was 'a bit of a bully', but Brook's stepfather has said it was 'a load of rubbish'.
