Brian Johnson, an American influencer who shot to fame thanks to his raw diet and workout routines on social media, has reportedly been arrested after his latest bizarre video.

Johnson, who is better known as The Liver King, recently starred alongside his family in a Netflix documentary which studies the influencer's 'ancestral lifestyle', which was hit by controversy after he admitted to using steroids.

We see all sorts of weird diets promoted on the internet these days, but few can match that of the Liver King and his wife Barbara, who revealed that she eats nothing but animal's testicles during the documentary.

The Liver King is never far from controversy on the internet, but his latest video looks to have landed him in some hot water, after he challenged Joe Rogan to a fight, something which reportedly saw him arrested by police in Austin, Texas.

A number of cryptic videos have appeared on his Instagram in the last few days, which have sparked concern from fans about the influencer's mental state.

His alleged threat towards Rogan has been cited as the reason behind his arrest on 24 June, with The Sun suggesting he was booked on a 'terroristic threat' charge.

“Joe Rogan, I’m calling you out, my name’s Liver King. Man to man, I’m picking a fight with you,” The Liver King said in the video.

He said that he didn’t have training in jiu-jitsu.

"You’re a black belt. You should dismantle me," Liver King said.

"But I’m picking a fight with you.

"I'm not gonna train but I hope you've been training," he warned Rogan.

"I'm ready whenever you're ready. This is actually happening, it'll be fun."

A series of videos have followed, in which The Liver King openly discusses his arrest with his family and the camera, with disturbing scenes showing him in handcuffs and seemingly in the police station with his wife.

It is unclear why Johnson called out Rogan, but the podcast host reportedly refused to have the influencer as a guest on his show after discovering that he was using steroids to attain his physique.

He said: "There is no way you can look like that, in your 40s... he's preposterously jacked," he stated.

"Now that we know he is full of s***... we are talking about the Liver King, by the way," Rogan clarified.

A spokesperson for Austin Police Department said: "On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Austin Police Department (APD) detectives were notified that a subject identified as Brian Johnson, known online as “Liver King”, had made threats against Joe Rogan on his Instagram profile.

"Detectives reviewed the posts and observed that Johnson was traveling to Austin while continuing to make threatening statements. Detectives contacted Mr. Rogan, who stated he had never had any interaction with Johnson and considered the posts to be threatening. Based on this information, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Johnson on a charge of Terroristic Threat.

"Later that day, at approximately 5:59 p.m., APD officers located Johnson at the Four Seasons Hotel located at 98 San Jacinto Boulevard and took him into custody without incident. He was transported to the Travis County Jail and charged with Terroristic Threat, a Class B misdemeanour. This remains an active investigation, and there is no further information is available at this time."
