Lucy Beaumont touched on her divorce from Jon Richardson in a recent interview about her relationships and privacy.
The British comedians announced their shock split in April 2024, after nine years of marriage.
They released a statement describing the situation as 'difficult' and that their focus was on co-parenting their nine-year-old daughter Elsie.
Beaumont and Richardson are best known for their mockumentary comedy TV series Meet the Richardsons and regularly mined their marriage for jokes, with Beaumont quipping she might have 'made a mistake' marrying Richardson on a panel show appearance before they separated.

They have remained tight-lipped about the nature of their split since.
Beaumont even said they had an agreement, admitting last year: "People might think I should talk about it because we were so public and everyone knew us as a couple, but I won't, and not because there's any animosity.
"We both agreed that while it might be weird for other people not hearing anything about it, we wouldn't talk about anything to do with the marriage or each other."

Beaumont, who starred in The Celebrity Traitors last year, spoke to The Times in a recent interview which touched on her future ambitions, which includes the intention to delve into politics.
The comedian actually spoke about her split from Richardson, which was announced before the final season of their series was released.
She admitted that it was frustrating not to be given their space, saying: "We asked for privacy but I, as the woman, got no privacy."
Beaumont and Richardson have stood by their 'no further comment' claim on the whole though, even if details of a £1.625 million payment from the latter to the former have been made public.
They released a statement announcing their split as they knew a reporter was going to make it public, with the comedian admitting that it impacted her ongoing Trouble and Strife stand-up comedy tour.
As the split happened mid-tour, Beaumont said that she changed 'a couple of bits' in a show which pretended that they were still together.
She added: “I had jokes that I kept because they were still funny. There wasn’t loads about the marriage. Now I’m even more guarded about my personal life.”

Richardson has joked about aspects of the marriage, though neither have been explicit about their split.
Beaumont said that any comment made in interviews, no matter how innocent they may appear, can ultimately be angled as a 'torturous smear'.
The comedian has since been rumoured to have started a new relationship with sound engineer Martin Wallace, though she is sticking to her word when it comes to keeping things private, so not much is known about him.
She is set to embark on a new stand-up tour, Bad at Quiz Shows, Good with Weirdos, from September 2026 to July 2027.
