It's rare to hear a talk show host talk poorly of their guests, but Megyn Kelly has brutally revealed some of the 'meanest' celebrities she's spoken to in her years as a journalist.

The 55-year-old media personality has interviewed some of the biggest names in Hollywood during her years on the screen, but has caused some controversy after revealing which ones left a sour note.

In times gone by, celebrities talking down on each other was a rarity, but it often seems to be the quickest way to fame these days, as we saw recently with Quentin Tarantino speaking poorly of Paul Dano's performance in There Will Be Blood, labelling him as the 'weakest f**king actor’ in Hollywood.

And Kelly, a staunch MAGA supporter despite previous criticisms of Donald Trump, seems to be going down a similar route after pointing out her issues with several of Hollywood's biggest names.

And at the top of her list was legendary actress and activist Jane Fonda.

The 88-year-old, who has won two Academy Awards, clashed with Kelly during a 2017 interview when questions turned to cosmetic surgery.

While Kelly suggests that she didn't mean to provoke Fonda, they had a lot of tension, and it became one of her most awkward interviews.

Despite the fact that Bruce Willis is widely acknowledged as a beloved name in Hollywood, especially since his heartbreaking dementia diagnosis, Kelly also decided to speak ill of the Die Hard star.

Recalling her encounter with Willis to the Daily Mail, Kelly said: "He was just clearly so unhappy to be there. I mean, that’s fine, he has his politics, but why agree to come on?"

She also described him as 'so ungiving’ and ‘so ungenerous'.

However, her biggest criticism was aimed at Ellen DeGeneres, the retired comedian and talk show host who was 'cancelled' back in 2022 after widespread allegations about the 'toxic environment' she fostered with the employees who worked on her show.

Kelly claimed: "They were all told, if you come across her in the hallway, even if you’re already looking in that general direction, to look down at the floor…

"I’ve never heard anything like that before with any of these big personalities.

"And I knew that before the bullying scandal broke in 2020, so when it did, I was not surprised at all. She is a bad person."

Perhaps the celebrities on Kelly's list may well not be too disappointed to have not hit it off with the political commentator, considering she named Russell Brand as one of her nicest guests, while she also downplayed Donald Trump's alleged involvement on Jeffrey Epstein's island during a recent podcast appearance.

“I don’t give a sh*t about Trump getting handsy with somebody 20 years ago,” Kelly said.

“I want someone who will keep boys out of my daughter’s sports, which he has.”
