After 33 years of the singer living on this planet, people are only just discovering Miley Cyrus' real name.
The child star first burst onto our screens in 2006 when Hannah Montana started airing - so then again, maybe that's where all the confusion began. She starred as a teenage girl living a double life, who was secretly masquerading as a pop star...so she went by both Miley and Hannah as and when required.
Although two names are more than enough for any one person to be known by, Miley actually has a third up her sleeve, too.
The 'Flowers' singer's mother, Tish Cyrus, previously revealed that the name which fans see in bright lights isn't actually the one that she gave her daughter at birth.

Tish - who is also mum to Brandi, Trace, Braison, and Noah - explained that Miley legally changed her name in 2008 at the age of 15.
During an appearance on the Tea Time with Raven & Miranda podcast, she said: "Billy Ray [Cyrus] came up with that [the Miley nickname].
"She always smiled when she was little, so we would call her smiley Miley, and it just stuck."
Miley was given the moniker 'Destiny Hope' when she first came into the world back in November 1992, but ended up opting to go by her nickname full-time.
Billy Ray previously explained the meaning behind her birth name during a 2020 interview with Us Weekly.
And despite her legally adopting another moniker, he said she will always be Destiny Hope in his eyes.
The 'Achy Breaky Heart' hitmaker told the publication of Miley: "She’s a giver. She believes that we’re all put here for a reason, and that’s to give back to our fellow man. I’m real proud of her.
"That’s why we named her Destiny Hope. Destiny Hope Cyrus is her name - at least it used to be.
"But no matter what you call her, she still is Destiny Hope. She is a ray of sunshine. She is a special human being. She’s got a great heart."
A lot of people had no idea about all of this though - so social media users were quite shocked when they found out about this snippet of celebrity trivia.
Taking to X, one person said: "MILEY CYRUS REAL NAME IS DESTINY HOPE?!? Since when?!?"
Another wrote: "Miley Cyrus real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus? Wtf lol."
A third added: "Screaming, who the f**k was gonna tell me Miley Cyrus' real name is DESTINY HOPE?"
While a fourth chimed in saying: "I was today years old when I found out Miley Cyrus’s real name used to be Destiny Hope Cyrus before she legally changed it in 2008."
Miley recently admitted that she has a 'Christmas-related' phobia which she finds particularly tough to deal with during the festive season.
The former Disney star revealed that even just looking at paper makes her want to 'vomit' - so the Cyrus family instead stuff her gifts into stockings.
I wonder which name they write on the gift tag though, eh?
