Fans praise Jamie Lee Curtis for being 'real' after leaving Oscars early for very relatable reason

The Halloween actor didn't have a typically freaky night

Last night’s (10 March) Academy Awards were filled with all sorts of viral moments, from Ryan Gosling’s ‘I’m Just Ken’ performance to Emma Stone’s dress malfunction.

But despite there being so many big moments at this year’s Oscars - like Cillian Murphy’s speech, of course - not all the stars stuck around for the full ceremony.

And fans have praised Jamie Lee Curtis for being ‘real’ and getting off early for a very relatable reason.

The Freaky Friday actor was one of many stars in attendance and was there to present an award.

Last year, Curtis scooped up the title for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once and was there to hand out this year’s trophy.

However, once that was out the way, the 65-year-old headed off from the ceremony at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre.

It seems the Halloween star was a little peckish as she seemingly ditched the rest of the event to go grab some fast food.

Curtis headed to In-N-Out to order a burger, fries and drink from the drive thru.

And that's how Curtis does the Oscars.

She shared a series of images to Instagram outlining the events with the caption: “FLY IN [tick emoji]. GET FLUFFED AND FOLDED [tick]. PRESENT AT OSCARS [tick]. GO TO @inandout_burger [tick]. FLY AWAY [tick].”

I mean, fair enough.

Fans praised the actor, with one writing: “Yep. Keeping it real. Love the In ‘n’ Out burger.”

As another echoed: “Really just presented and dipped. I respect it.”

Someone else put: “I love you for this and so much more!!”

Many said she is ‘so their vibe’ as they called the star is ‘so normal’.

And Curtis definitely looked happy about it as she smiled for a glammed-up selfie from the back of the car ready for her burger.

Seemed like a great night for Curtis.

It was confirmed by Lindsay Lohan that the pair of actors are ‘excited’ for a sequel to Freaky Friday.

The iconic remake landed back in 2003 with Curtis playing teen Lohan’s mum.

And after plenty of rumours about a sequel with the two stars, Lohan told People: “I think we’re going to have a lot of fun with this.

“I’m just excited to work with Jamie again and see how much further we can take it.”

Lohan also added that she and the Oscar winner talk ‘almost every other day’ but wouldn’t reveal when filming will start or if the sequel’s script has been completed.
