Pamela Anderson addresses ‘intimate’ relationship with Liam Neeson for first time

Pamela Anderson has directly addressed speculation about her 'intimate' relationship with Liam Neeson for the first time.

Baywatch star Anderson and Taken actor Neeson became the unlikely frontrunners of 2025's favourite couple, after their touchy-feely behaviour while promoting their film The Naked Gun sparked speculation they were romantically involved.

The actors appeared flirty to each other during interviews, had obvious chemistry in the film, and even shared a peck on the cheek during a red carpet.

And just like that, everybody was rooting for two celebrities they previously would've never put together.

So, are Anderson and Neeson in a relationship, or is it all a PR stunt designed to promote their film? Thankfully, the 58-year-old has now set the record straight on what exactly happened.

Speaking in a new interview with PEOPLE, Anderson finally gave a direct answer about her relationship with Neeson, revealing the pair did have a brief romance.

"If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming," she explained, revealing that she spent a week at Neeson's home in upstate New York.

The connection was apparently very real for the pair, with the Northern Irish actor introducing Anderson as the 'future Mrs. Neeson' when they went out for dinner on one occasion.

However the relationship was short-lived, with the model clarifying that she and Neeson went their separate ways after a 'romantic lost week'.

Her comments are the first time either actor has addressed the romance speculation directly, with The Last Showgirl actor previously saying she had found a 'a friend forever in Liam' while a close friend of Neeson's late wife Natasha Richardson said he was 'very much stanning whatever this is'.

When it came to promoting The Naked Gun, the pair lent into their obvious chemistry once again.

"We were having fun," Anderson said.

"I always was laughing when people thought, 'Oh, that’s a publicity stunt.' I’m like, ‘A publicity stunt?' This is real. We have real feelings."

So, where do they stand now?

"I adore Liam," she said. "But we are better friends, in full honesty."

Anderson went on to add that Neeson is also a huge supporter of her career, adding: "He is such a supporter of this new trajectory in my career and kindly tells me he is very proud of me. I’m sure we will always be in each other’s lives."

Anderson has previously been married five times, with her notable ex-partners including musicians Tommy Lee and Kid Rock. Meanwhile, Neeson has been married once, to Richardson, and has dated stars such as Helen Mirren, Julia Roberts, and Barbra Streisand.
