Earlier this year, Ray J took to social media to announce that he ‘doesn’t have long left to live’.
The rapper had been rushed to hospital in Las Vegas in January after experiencing heart pain and was treated for a severe case of pneumonia. He told fans he ‘just almost died’ and later decided ‘2027 is definitely a wrap for me’.
While his friends in the background of videos didn’t seem to agree, Ray J claimed ‘that’s what they say’.
But as he carries on living his life with this claim looming over his head, the ex-partner of Kim Kardashian took part in a celebrity MMA match on Saturday (23 May).

And when facing YouTuber Supa Hot Fire at live streamer Adin Ross’ UFC Apex event in Vegas, Ray J got brutally knocked out.

The ‘One Wish’ singer went toe-to-toe with Supa for just two rounds during their MMA fight.
He had the YouTuber against the ropes in the second round and was throwing a few body punches.
But then Supa whacked Ray J with a hard right hook square in the face, sending him falling into the ropes before hitting the canvas.
And while he eventually got back to his feet, the rapper was so dazed he had to sit down on a stool, with the ref calling it and the fight ending.
Things then got a bit bizarre as in an after-fight interview, Ray J seemed to suggest he had a plan in place with Supa and it was meant to be rigged but his opposition didn’t follow through.

“Damn bro … like that? For real … that’s janky as f**k,” he said.
“I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to get nobody in trouble, but damn … we took an L tonight.”
Ray J continued: “You know how much money we lost? Wow… wow.”

After claiming in a video that ‘2027 is definitely a wrap for me’, the rapper said that his heart is ‘mostly black’.
He had said that he ‘f**ked up’ and ‘almost died’.
Ray J told TMZ that he had been prescribed with eight different kinds of medications as they say ‘they’re not sure how long he has to live’. His meds apparently include the likes of cholesterol medication Lipitor, Jardiance and Entresto – often given to those at high risk of heart failure.
The LADbible Group has contacted representatives for Ray J for comment.
