'Red bikini girl' has life changing decision to make after video of her at party gets 100 million views

Going viral in a video that's just 13 seconds long could lead to life-changing money, but only if you play your cards right.

That's the decision now facing the 'red bikini girl', or Océane, as she has identified herself as, after she shot to internet fame thanks to a video of her at a foam party going viral this week, amassing over 100 million views.

The 20-year-old French content creator says the clip has already 'changed my life completely', but what could the financial possibilities of such massive virality be?

Celebrity PR expert Lauren Beeching tells LADbible Océane could 'comfortably' make six figures over the next few months, but it will all depend on how she decides to manage her new-found fame.

Beeching told LADbible: "If she's well managed and moves while the attention is hot, my guess would be somewhere between £150,000 and £250,000 over the next twelve months."

Though Beeching was keen to stress the figure was a guess, as it could be much higher or lower depending on how Océane capitalises on the moment.

"It's an opportunity to be converted rather than a cheque in the post," she said.

"The figure depends far more on the business around her than on the fame itself. Whether she has management yet, and how good they are, makes an enormous difference, as does how much of each fee they take."

She has moved quickly and does already have an agent, but Breeching explains it will take a lot of work from her end as well.

"A lot of it comes down to her own effort too, because a moment like this needs active working: replying to approaches, meeting promoters, building the relationships that turn one big summer into a proper diary.

"Handled well, the numbers above are very achievable. Left to drift, the attention fades and takes most of the earning potential with it."

Océane praised for putting her vocation front and centre

Thankfully for Océane, she already has something that can be easily monetised beyond just meet and greets at club nights or hastily starting a podcast, as she's a DJ.

Her Instagram handle is @aora.dj, and she has continued to put that work front and centre on her channels, something Breeching has praised her for doing since becoming the internet's most famous person.

She expects Océane could have some very lucrative gigs on the horizon this summer, if she hasn't already.

"I'd be genuinely surprised if big clubs and festivals across Europe aren't already trying to book her, the Ibiza and Spanish circuits especially, because she's a DJ and a 100 million view name in the same person, and that's a promoter's dream for a summer line up," Breeching said.

With the world's eyes on her, Océane could command high appearance fees.

Breeching added: "The bulk of the money is DJ bookings rather than Instagram. A viral name can command £10,000 to £20,000 a set at the peak of the hype, and there's every chance the right club offers her something bigger, a whole summer residency on one of the Spanish islands, say, which would change the picture entirely.

"The money follows the attention, and right now the attention is enormous, so a great deal is possible very quickly."

That's not to mention brand deals, appearance fees, gifted trips and other extras that could see Océane turn her moment in the sun into a lifetime.

Océane warned she'll have to capitalise

While Océane has been handed a fantastic opportunity with a launching pad that could catapult her into a superstar, it could just as easily fizzle out, leaving her to become just another forgotten internet meme.

"The booking fee for a viral name and the booking fee for a DJ people travel to see are two very different numbers," Breeching said.

"The gap between them is the whole story. The first you get for a season, the second you build, and it lasts.

"Ultimately, a booking fee is just what a promoter believes she'll sell, so it comes down to who's interested and how many tickets they think her name puts on the door.

"She seems to understand that, which is the difference between someone who's famous for a fortnight and someone benefiting from this in three years."

How she became a viral sensation

Océane didn't even know she was being filmed during a foam party in Lloret de Mar, Spain, but cameras caught her reacting with a playful smile after being sprayed with some water.

The brief video has already amassed over 100 million views across social media and her followers on Instagram have skyrocketed to nearly 100,000.

Beeching moves to point out that she didn't ask for her new-found fame and has been forced to deal with unkind comments as well as adulation.

Adding she is: "A young woman taking something she didn't consent to and turning it into a career on her own terms."

Reacting to the video, Océane said in an Instagram caption: "A simple video changed my life completely and made me go viral on social media.

"I think if it touched so many people, it’s because I was just being myself: spontaneous, natural, and with a desire to enjoy every moment.

"One thing for sure, I'll stay true to myself. No fireworks, no fakes, just natural, smiling, and living my life the way I want."

Hawk Tuah girl (Haliey Welch) - $500,000

Welch, 24, from Tennessee, was suddenly everywhere after popping up in a Tim and Dee TV street interview in 2024.

When asked what makes a man ‘go crazy’ in bed, she said: “You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang!”

Since then, Welch - who previously worked in a bedspring factory - has done everything she can to capitalise on her viral fame: from merchandise to inking a deal with streaming platform Kick and launching a podcast called Talk Tuah.

She even cameoed in Glen Powell’s TV show Chad Powers and launched crypto coin $HAWK, which crashed hard and many of her fans accused of being a scam.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, she’s worth around $500k.

Ibiza Final Boss (Jack Kay) - £2 million

One dodgy haircut catapulted Kay, 26, from Newcastle into viral infamy after he was filmed at Wayne Lineker's O Beach Club in Ibiza last year.

Previously working in the construction industry, Kay has since signed a deal with fashion brand boohooMAN, appeared at Creamfields, starred in a Channel 4 documentary, reportedly made £60,000 from personal appearances, and released music in partnership with Carnao Beats.

In an unlikely twist, in June 2026 he stepped into the boxing ring with rapper and social media star Jordan McCann on the undercard for Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall, with Kay coming out on top.

According to Metro, he’s now worth a cool £2 million.
