Scott Eastwood has revealed that Brad Pitt had to break up a scrap between him and Shia LaBeouf during filming of their 2014 movie Fury.
Fury, which also starred Jon Bernthal, Logan Lerman, and Michael Peña, centred on an American tank crew during the final weeks of World War II.
And it seems that as well as the on-screen conflict, there was also plenty of confrontation happening on-set, with Eastwood saying he clashed with LaBeouf during filming.
Appearing on an episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, Eastwood recalled that LaBeouf had taken exception to him spitting tobacco on the tank they were filming in, despite it being ‘in the script’.

Eastwood said he decided that ‘enough is enough’ and finally confronted his co-star.
“I said, ‘F**k you. Stop pulling your s**t.’

“I said, ‘I’m gonna whoop your ass.’”
At that point, as things became more heated, Eastwood said their co-star Pitt then stepped in to calm the situation down.
The 40-year-old star went on to say that LaBeouf had been a ‘very method actor’, and went to extreme lengths for the role, including having one of his teeth pulled out and cutting his own face.
Eastwood told Shepard: “I remember thinking, ‘Okay, this guy’s crazy. I’m just going to keep clear from this guy because I don’t really play this game.’ You go and do that, but there’s plenty of ways to do a performance in a movie and be professional also, right?”
Back in 2014, Pitt shared his side of the incident and admitted that he had originally sided with LaBeouf.
Speaking to GQ ahead of the film’s release, Pitt praised LaBeouf’s acting and claimed that it was actually him that had first called out Eastwood for spitting on the tank.
He told the publication: “We were driving down the road, I'm in the turret, Shia is at the other turret, and Scott is on the back, spitting juice. And I'm starting to get p***ed off, I'm starting to get hot, because this is our home, he's disrespecting our home, you know?

“So I said, in the scene with the cameras rolling, 'You're going to clean that s**t up.' Shia clocks it, and you have to understand, we've been through severe boot camp already, we've been through a lot in this tank. Shia saw it and felt the same - he's disrespecting our home. So Shia had the same reaction I did, and started having some words.”
However, he said that things then ‘got out of hand’, which is when he stepped in to break up the confrontation.
“The funny thing is, when we got home at the end of the day and read the script, it said Scotty's character is 'chewing tobacco and spitting it on the back of the tank',” he added.
“He was just doing as instructed in the script! So we were the k**bs in the end..."
LADbible has approached representatives for LaBeouf.
Eastwood’s latest comments come just days after he hit out an unnamed co-star who pulled out of a project late in the day.
“I just worked with somebody and, without saying any names, people get too famous for too long and think the world owes them something,” he said as he appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
“They decided after we’d already spent a bunch of money that they just didn’t want to work with this other person and didn’t want to do the job.”
Eastwood said he then told the actor that they 'needed to pay back the money to the person who invested in them,' but they allegedly refused and 'left' the unnamed project.
